In response to my activity on this site, I received an email from another user with links to 20 webpages that "prove" that the average American, is either against deporting the illegals or think that it is impossible.
How do you view these polls? have any of you been involved in one or more? Have any of you been teh asker who calles the participants?
I have and I have found out, firsthand that polls are as fake as anything you will see in "Professional Wrestling".
The desired outcomes are predetermined and preliminary qualifying questions are the norm. if you do not fit into the scheme, you don't qualify, and the REAL results of these polls are neither scientific, nor realistic.
Remember that the large media outlets have an agenda and a reason for ruining the workforce with illegals who will take our jobs!
What did I do about this job, taking polls? I QUIT AND TURNED IN 100% ACCURATE INFORMATION TO MY BOSS. IT GOT TOSSED, GARANTEED

cantcu: I lose? what EXACTLY do I lose? I have life proof of what I speak. wht do you have? In a word, NOTHING!
Did I say ANYTHING about 100% accuracy? Of course, I did not! unless the polls were of 100% of the population, there can be no possibility of 100% accuracy. Polls are taken of certain, tracked demographic areas, for example, Democrats usually poll places like Detroit, the largest liberal area in the country and rarely reach out to surrounding YUPPY (am I dating myself?) areas, like Bloomfield Hills, Rochester, etc.
That is prior to the qualifying questions.
I have been phoned for ABC, NBC and CNN polls on issues as diverse as the economy, abortion and 2nd amendment rights.
All three times I was asked a few "background" questions:
My race
My age
My political affiliation (do yo consider yourself a republican, dem, independent?)
Do I have children
Do I own a gun

After the qualifiers, which ALWAYS had a preliminary component to the stated subject matter
Gun owner? I wasn't qualified to take the gun ban poll!
Have children? disqualified for the abortion poll!
Middle-aged white male republican? disqualified for the economy poll!
yesp, there is absolutely no rigging of poll outcomes, 100% scientific and unbiased! yep, I lose!

Well no I don't think you've linked the polling data that supports that Americans have thsi position. Even if they did it is a red herring here's why:
1) I don't want to waste the postage sending these thugs and free loadres packing. Just start arresting employers and back to Mexico they all go for free.
2) Most Americans 82% were against the latest shamnesty bill.
Polling data by and large that you see in places like the New York Times and other mainstream "news" outlets is contrived to fit an agenda. Right now there are 2 parts of that agenda Socialism and open borders. Gee what a surprise that they publish this trash. The Times for example has had one false story after another get caught but as long as they have cash to run the presses the turds will keep rolling out of the top of the punch bowel until hell freezes over.

Well, it's since the federal government has attempted to sneak by means of an present of complete amnesty to people who are right here illegally in alternate for imposing the legislation that they must were imposing within the first location. This is the equal distinctive promise that used to be passed to us underneath Reagan within the 1980's whilst amnesty used to be given to all the unlawful immigrants that had been on this nation at the moment, they usually had been then intended to put in force the legislation of this country whilst it got here to immigration. This used to be intended to cut down the quantity of unlawful immigrants flowing into this country. It did not paintings. As quickly as I heard the suggestion, I grew to be enraged, and I instantly recalled the "promise" made to the residents of this country approximately twenty years earlier than. They don't seem to be going to place me off once more with the equal historic track and dance - "Let's forgive those men and women. From right here on out, we promise to be hard on unlawful immigrants, rent extra Border Agents, and deport someone right here illegally. We can even punish any employers that rent unlawful immigrants and pay them illegally." Been there, performed that, have the t-blouse. It is not anything however empty guarantees, and a promise they not ever plan on honoring. They are going to do the equal factor, and in a further twenty years, the equal factor will come round. It has accelerated since the members entering this country recognize that in the event that they stick it out lengthy sufficient, the US will finally supply them complete amnesty, and they are going to have what they wish with out going by way of the strategies. It occurred as soon as, they usually believe it'll occur once more.

Trust surveys, not polls.
This means first look at census.gov to see if there is any information on the issue you are researching. All of the Census Bureau surveys use sophisticated statistical sampling techniques. The Bureau also has thousands of highly educated people developing scripts.
Regarding immigration, the Bureau does not ever ask if someone is in the U.S. illegally, so any statistical information on illegal immigrants in the Census data base is extrapolated. Despite this, it is still the most reliable information on this subject.

Tancredo, Ron Paul, and Hunter have the most conservative voting records on immigration.

Of these three, Ron Paul has the best chance of winning the Primary election.
Paul's campaign has almost 4 times as much money to spend as Tancredo.

This is his six point plan:
Physically secure our borders and coastlines. We must do whatever it takes to control entry into our country before we undertake complicated immigration reform proposals.
Enforce visa rules. Immigration officials must track visa holders and deport anyone who overstays their visa or otherwise violates U.S. law. This is especially important when we recall that a number of 9/11 terrorists had expired visas.
No amnesty. Estimates suggest that 10 to 20 million people are in our country illegally. That’s a lot of people to reward for breaking our laws.
No welfare for illegal aliens. Americans have welcomed immigrants who seek opportunity, work hard, and play by the rules. But taxpayers should not pay for illegal immigrants who use hospitals, clinics, schools, roads, and social services.
End birthright citizenship. As long as illegal immigrants know their children born here will be citizens, the incentive to enter the U.S. illegally will remain strong.
Pass true immigration reform. The current system is incoherent and unfair. But current reform proposals would allow up to 60 million more immigrants into our country, according to the Heritage Foundation. This is insanity. Legal immigrants from all countries should face the same rules and waiting periods.

The NAFTA Superhighway might be another significant threat to American borders.

They are probably push polls to get those results. They probably start with "Do you agree that deporting 20 million people is beyond the capability of the US government." or some such drivel.

That is what the polls say. It is the hyperbole of a few paleo-Republicans who tend to make all the noise!
Polls are conducted scientifically, at least the respected ones and their margin of error is about 3% which is statistically a non-factor!
Of course you disagree with the polls. They don't fit your views! I guess you disagree with the polls against the war, which even Fox reports identical numbers as the rest!
There is no such thing as 100% accurate information so you lose!

Very enlightening on this exact topic.
Surveys use "guided" questioning to pigeon-hole respondents into a specific answer.
