I don't think they haven't talked about getting married yet, but she saw a movie on Lifetime about this happening. She just doesn't want to fall for him if this may be the case.

It is possible, but it requires financial commitment of her. I am in the position of being married to a US citizen and just received my green card and SS#. My husband needed to make sure he was making at least 125% above the poverty line. We can't make use of any governmental benefits, except for medical ACCHS? That means no welfare, food stamps and so on.
After they marry they need to file for AOS, currently a $1010 fee. To receive the green card, you'll be called in for an interview with an immigration officer who will see if you do have a legimit marriage. You need to show proof of joined accounts and leases.
After 2 years you need to change you 2 year conditional green card into a 10 year one, proofing your marriage is still a valid one and proof more evidence that is recent. Fee: about $600.
So your friend needs to be really convinced of his motives, if she suspect any fraudulent reason he may have she better saves her money and use it for a man that deserves it.
After 3 years you can file for US citizenship

opposite to what's outwardly primary misconceptions, it is no longer from now on troublesome to get citizenship in Israel that this is contained in usa. Israel has a naturalization technique for potential voters very corresponding to the U.S. does - it comprises application, learn and place of abode. of direction there is the properly-primary shortcut to citizenship for Jews decrease than the regulation of return that replaced into meant to make it basic for Jews who prefer to return to their place of start or to flee persecution. yet you would be shocked to understand that Israel isn't the only us of a that has this type of provision - Germany for one does besides to facilitate the immigration of the ethnic German inhabitants from jap Europe and the former Soviet Union, who could declare German citizenship decrease than the main suitable of return regulation. Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, China, India, eire and Poland, as an occasion, even have expedited citizenship tracks for foreigners of correct descent.

It's funny you know in the past all of the talk was about American men marrying Asians all the feminists were up in arms about it.
Now all these American women (and European women) are getting involved with all these Africans, funny.
Anyway duh the guy has an expiring visa! Myabe he loves her maybe notDoes she want to marry this guy or not? That's the real question. Make him sign a pre-nup.

That's for sure he's going to use your friend. Tell her to be careful. If that's true she can always ask him straight in the eyes and then make him an offer-a certain amount of money for the favour and let's see what he'sgoing to say.

good men are hard to come by and your Friend needs to appreciate the good honest nature of this person and not look at the negatives. From experiences I have found African men to be mild mannered, trustworthy and honest. Not the players the western world develops, what does she want a rap star instead with many women??

Even if she marry him, he has to go back to his country and have to wait for his green card. If she has misgiving, she should wait at least one more year before she marries him, if he will not wait, that's a good sign he's only after a green card

Sure it's possible.
What is she doing considering marriage to him unless she is certain that in HIS case, it isn't possible?
