my boyfriend plans on going to college here in Indiana and he also plans on living here with me. I hear that you have to live in a state for a year to become a resident... if we got married would he automatically become a resident? or does he still have to wait

thats not the reason we are getting married...we are getting married anyways ...weather he becomes a resident or not

All states resident requirements are different!!! In Nevada you get a drivers license,re register your car...register to vote ..You are a resident!!

That is sooooo not the reason to get married. Plus I think he is stuck- have to live there one year to have residency.

lol. who cares about being a citizen of indiana? in state tuition requires that you have lived there for like one or three years or something if thats what you're thinking, its not like becoming a US citizen
