if previous administrations thought like that, then you would be living in whatever country your ancestors came from with no hope of coming to america, and america would be populated exclusively by Native Americans.

I'm all for allowing immigration to our country. Legal immigration. And in reasonable numbers.

There are law abiding people from all over the world with skill sets that we desire that would like to come here. And I say let them come. But if they have no regard for the law when they come, I don't see them having much respect for the law later.

So if we get enough of the BAD, that's the way our country will go. We have every right to be selective with our immigration policies. Other countries do and don't apologize for it.

I imagine people asked that when there was an influx of Irish, Italians, Germans, Poles, Jews, Hmong and any other nationality you can think of. In early American history, the French, English, Spanish and Natives didn't like the idea, either. BUT the Mexicans are the first to come into our country and insist that we speak Spanish, change our laws, and accomodate their reluctance to become Americans. That is intolerable and an insult to all the peoples who came and worked hard to be citizens of this country.

our leaders are letting it happen in the name of globalism. and americans wont vote out all the incumbants. democrat-republican!!!! one doesnt want to hurt their feelings the other needs them to keep wages low for corporations. rep or dem if they have been in there a while send em home and give another a go. they wont have time to get too corrupt. but they keep americans arguing over queers,abortion and ..........you name it. 2 generations (my answer)

When we get another Great Depression, we will blame someone. Unemployment is a great motivator. Perhaps we will torpedo refugee boats seeking asylum. Vietnam did it to a boatload of Bangledesh boat people.
