If you look at cities that have a hispanic population of 80% or higher you will see a city with hispanic elects in office solely..... I consider this a form of racism in itself.......this is my biggest concern about the illegals...poltical...I could care less about the jobs and other bs...thats all secondary to the politcal consequences of legalizing these mass peoples into America!

Why do some Americans tolerate the complete disrespect that is shown towards us by Illegals? Why do we help them if it just backfires on us? Don't you think it's time we stood up for ourselves and made America as good as it once was.

I would imagine that there would always be those people who forget theirs, lose them, etc.

I think that would cause headaches, but anything to help end illegal immigration.

I tried to live in San Diego 10 years ago and spent 2 months trying to find a job in my profession. I had to work temp jobs daily and take cans to be recycled for money because no one would hire me because I was not bilingual. What about this? I am highly educated but I refuse to have to speak another language so I can get a job in the USA english speaking country.

If you had to choose one reason and one reason only what is the deciding factor/main reason that makes you anti-illegal? Personally, this is a tough question for me to answer because there are so many reasons to dislike illegal immigration. I dislike the fact that these people demonstrate to the world that we have broken borders and as a consequence I believe that this is a serious terrorist threat to our nation.

I am just curious. I can understand why some anglos want mexicans out.
But it surprises me why african americans support this especially after long-decades of racism against them... at one point U.S. wanted blacks back in Africa.
I understand some illegal immigrants come here illegally, but wouldn't it be correct to give them a chance? They are really not criminals, they are just here to give a better future to their families.

last year my husband applied for a uk visa in Ankara Turkey, and he got turned down. So i had to go to court in Stretham england to appeal against the decision, i went on the 18th july. It seemed to go really well and im praying it will be a YES. The judge said in court i will have to wait no longer then 2weeks for the decision by post, she said no by law she has to let us no by then. We have now been waiting 3weeks well it will be 3weeks tomorrow. Has anyone else gone thro this and how long did they wait, im scared to complain incase they then say No! Me and my husband have been away from each other for a year and a half. I just cant stand the waiting. Should i ring up or what i really dont know what to do.

I might be living in India for some years after I marry my fiance in Bangalore. I am a USA citizen and I read that after seven years, you can become Indian citizen. Although, I realized India doesn't agree to dual citizenship...so I would lose my USA citizenship, and I really don't want to do that. My question is: Do you have a choice whether or not to go for Indian citizenship or is it a requirement after residing there for so long? Also how many years do you have to reside in India if so?

I am pretty sure this is flat out racism, I can't find any legitimate reasons why Mexicans are unfairly targeted. Study after study shows that even though they come here illegally, they contribute positively to our economy and are a necessary part of our work force.....Even Arizona State Universities own study concluded that immigrant workers, both legal and illegal, overall we're a necessary part of our economy.....

I have just sent in an application to become a US citizen. I may have to leave the country for a while due to unforeseen circumstances in my home country, I will probably change my address to a friends address where he can get any paperwork the INS may send regarding my status. Are there any repercussions for doing this? Is it ok to do this or not. Please help. Thanks.

I want to know how people compare India and USA.
the discoveries done in the other world in the 18th century were known to the indians since 600 BC but today the only aspect of india as seen by the rest world is poverty(colonialisation period).
Every Indian wants to have a better life like a citizen of USA, does culture and rituals mean nothing to them????
