Canada has very high taxes i have heard. I would choose USA of the 2 and i don't even like america that much. The music therapist will be fine, i guess the houses will be slighty diffrent cos of their size and built of wood but houses generally tend to have the same kinda problems and you would have come across wooden houses before.

it's more about the country you're emmigrating from. However, if that's from the UK, it won't be as hard as from other places, as you already speak english, and know a bit about the countries. Your jobs may help you, but not that much. It's more about attitude and how suitable they think you are, in america at least.
