Why do the african american community supports kicking illegal mexicans out of the U.S?

I am just curious. I can understand why some anglos want mexicans out.
But it surprises me why african americans support this especially after long-decades of racism against them... at one point U.S. wanted blacks back in Africa.
I understand some illegal immigrants come here illegally, but wouldn't it be correct to give them a chance? They are really not criminals, they are just here to give a better future to their families.

It is not a race issue it is a legal issue, a moral issue, bottom line many Americans have been convicted of a crime and have a criminal record for offenses much less than what immigrants here illegally have done getting here. I am for LEGAL immigration my Grandparents did it so can anyone else wanting to come here and benefit from this country.

The educated answer is that the real issues that Blacks in this country have are put on the back burner in favor of the bigger more visible problem to white establishment, which is the illegal alien problem. Also, blacks must compete for minority perks with the mexican minorities as well as compete with the illegals for the lower paying jobs. This is why the Black community is anti-illegal.

This is not about race!!! Why is race always brought up?? This ILLEGAL immigration debate is about breaking the law, simple. I don't care if he/she was a purple people eater, if he/she was breaking the law then he/she should get punished for and not because he/she was purple. It just so happens that a vast majority of the illegals in this country are from Mexico. Why is it that the pro-illegals use race as a defense? I guess people don't think that if you pull the race card you are only segregating YOURSELF and your race even more. I am a proud WHITE woman, so does that make me racist? It shouldn't. I am tired of feeling like I have to apologize for slavery, I don't own one!

Black, green, olive, white, purple, blue............it doesn't matter on the race or color of the skin. This is a large majority of us that want them out to go home to do it the legal way. Apply for a visa and get screened by the government like most other countries do. How the hell do you know they are NOT REALLY criminals? There are criminals everywhere and families everywhere that want better lives but most of us do it legally. Wouldn't doing it legally and not having to worry all the time be better for your family then being paranoid all the time that your going to get caught? They are teaching there families to grow up being liars when they are illegal.

I don't. But I think for some blacks, they are just glad that everyone hates the illegals now. Kinda like how during and after slavery, the poor whites were just glad that they weren't at the bottom of the social caste anymore.
