There are more illegal immigrants from Mexico than there are from Canada, but the terrorists of 9/11 came into the U.S. from Canada, so who knows who has come in since then. I think we should permenantly shut down the northern border (the southern border is a different issue, its not even used by Mexicans, they just walk in, so different issue) and stop Canadians from coming into our country. Even the "good" ones that come here just to visit are usually rude and arrogant and they think its ok to use Canadian money here. I'm sick of seeing cars on the highway with Ontario license plates. There are too many Canadians that visit, and probably a lot of terrorists come in through Canada. I think it's time we ban Canadians coming in. We don't need Canada ... they need us, but that's not our problem.

What do you think? Should we ban Canadians from coming into the U.S.?

Whenever someone asks about immigration laws they are greeted with stupid answers. Like the girl who wanted to know if she found out her non american husband used her if he woudl be deported. She was told to not marry him because he was an immigrant. Also many people ask questions about becoming citizens legally and are greeted with "stay in your own country" What's the point in that?

I asked this question before but I have changed my mind. It would be next to impossible to avoid all Mexican products, so how about this? Don't go to Mexico for vacations. Tourism is a big source of revenue for Mexico. But there are many other places to go. Hawaii is one. What do you think?

i dont speed, i dont break the law at all, when i take my kids to the store i actually pay for those single brachs candies you see in the bins,, i was told that i am the only one by the manager,, old people pass me on the road, i wait for the walk signal in the cross walk, if they dont charge me for something at the store i return and pay for it, i dont drink i dont smoke i pay my bills ahead of time and i follow the law to the letter because its the law, am i the only one, i was brought up by a police officer father and this is how he taught me and how i teach my kids,, so i am aghast when i read that some people break the law because they dont agree with it, am i right or am i wrong

Why do we hire teachers, social workers, etc, that are required to speak Spanish when the country speaks english. The illegals keep coming because we keep catering to them. If they can't speak, read, or write the English language, send them back to their country. Where we these multi-lingual professionals when the English came to America. They didn't hire multi-language professionals to deal with the Indians, so what makes Mexicans so special. The rallies you see on TV show all of the immigrants waving the Mexico fllag, not the U.S. flag, yet they want to stay here? It doesn't make any sense. If they are so proud of their country, then why the hel* did they leave it for. I would appreciate anyone's thoughts on this subject.

im 20. Im an overseas student from east timor studying RN(registerred nurse) in Australia do you (US residents) think its a good idea for me to go there and live before i get my RN here in Australia and then continue on RN in US (if i can get a visa that is).

Friend told me he had visited US, in New York he said its dangerous at night but mid day is fine. In Los angeles 6 black americans approach him and ask for $5 dollars, he said he dont have it, one f them then said give me $1 dollar, so he gave them some coins that count to $1. He also while in Los angeles his girlfriend was nearly kidnap by a group of guys, she ran and cried to him. He told me Los angeles a no no at night!!

Im damn scared to go there now, lol seriously guns, drugs, poverty seem to be everywhere in USA. In aus you can wander at night pretty safe.

SO should i go to US? which state is better i heard texas is nice, avoid southern states and western states is it true?
thanx again

something up would they stop them? or would the say, Blow
the gringos up, They don't care about us. Why should we care
what happens to them? What would you do in there place?

Surely, when one country thinks it's OK to send 'agents' to another, for the purpose of committing murder and causing mayhem, then that country should be placed beyond the pale, and should be shunned until they admit the error of their ways and apologise for their actions.
You only have to look at the problems caused by certain middle-eastern countries who harbour and sponsor terrorism for their own ends - and don't bring religion into it - it has nothing to do with religion and all to do with power!

when i retired from the marines i was going to go south until i heard of thier immigration requirments at the time, to become a mexican citizen with duel citizenship i had to have a min of 10,000 in the bank, an income of 2,000 a month and a letter from the local police that i had no criminal record, this was back in the 90s,, have the laws changed since then

I am currently working as a receptionist in Dubai. I arrived 2 monhs ago & since I have to exit soon, my employer issued me an new company-sponsored visit visa while they process my employment/residency visa. I have already submitted all the documentary requirements except my passport. If I resign, what are the steps I need to take to transfer the company-sponsored visa back to visit visa? Will an employment ban be imposed on me even though the employment visa processing was not finished?
