My parents are both undocumented immigrants. They've worked here for 20 years, are part of the community and pay taxes every year. In defining "The American People" what separates my hard working parents from the rest?

Lou Dobbs talks about enforcing laws but how? Take away the jobs of undocumented workers? Starve them and their family. Do any of the right wing reporters who wallow in their bigotry have any "real comprehensive immigration reform" or are they just plain racists who hide behind "the american people"

Lou Dobbs likes to talk about the war on the "middle class" and "the american people". He hides every racist and classist remark that comes out of his mouth behind both of these terms. Yet he doesnt think about the millions of AMERICAN PEOPLE born to undocumented immigrants. What about them? If you take away their parents jobs and starve them what will happen to these AMERICAN CITIZENS?? Does Lou DObbs think about this? NO. Because these dont "look" like American children after all. They are not blond or blue eyed. Amenesty for all immigrants.

what its wrong with wanting a better future? how are immigrants going to harm society?, when all we want is to fullfill our dreams just like everyone. we arent terrorist. we want to make a difference why are we being judged and spit on by true americans that have it all. us hispanics migrate to this country to reach our dreams leaving it all behind .ALL. we suffer we cry we run away to this so called free country for a dream, that magicaly turns into a night mare. when it takes more than what you are to at least bring food to the table and at the end die fighting ignorant, scared, greedy, full of pride, humans who wont open their eyes to see that this world was made to live in peace and to share and care for one another not to compare and distroy each others illusions and dreams to change the world. dont be ignorant because thats what we are when we dont dare to put our feet in each others shoes to understand that we are all here for the same purpose.

Your nation has been bombed several times by these terrible people.
They refuse to integrate. They send children off to madrassa to learn Jihad/Jihadi propaganda- what can be learnt in Madrassa aside from Quranic knowledge- what use is this in today's society- you cannot get a job reading ancient Arabic.

Their mosques are used for disseminating anti-British propaganda and co-ordinate terrorist tactics.

My country has had all muslim attacks of past ten years in some way involve Pakistani at highest level of triaing, bomb-making and financing. Your Mi5 has many copies of this proof. We have traced the money trail back to Pakistan many times. Hambali- one of al-Qaeda- Pakistani with fraudulent Indonesian pasport- caught in Bangkok via Indonesian Intel. He was financing another bombing attempt.

They refuse to participate in civil society. What more evidence is required that these are hostile ethnic aliens?

Have you noticed that there is no specific yahoo category for the War but there is for immigration? Its like they want us to discuss some things and forget others.

I knew when this topic of immigration came up it was
a slide of hand act to get our minds off the war.

Its very sad to see the wanna be patriot attitudes of people when it comes to immigration but when it comes to the war how often do you think about it compared to the time you spend on immigration?
You are doing exactly as they would have you do. Your dividing from each other and forgetting the war almost completely.

so let's determine exactly who OWNS the land. Does Cesar OWN the land or does GOD? Maybe it's just simple thinking on my part but it seems we are all allowed to be here & enjoy this land only for a short time. Even the Bible says our life on earth is "as a vapor." Long after we are gone the land will still remain. Other people will be allowed to live on it but it still BELONGS TO GOD. God graciously provided His mercies in allowing our own White ancestors to arrive here & live here despite the fact that this country was already inhabited. Since He is the same yesterday, today & forever why would anyone think that He would not allow those same mercies to the Hispanic immigrants of today who arrive to find US as the current inhabitants?

If we can miserably try to liberate iraq, i think we can take care of business here. It's as easy as the INS making an unexpected trip to suspected employers, fining them and rounding up everyone who doesn't check out, isn't it? If theyd fine the employers heftily, the work would dry up and theyd leave of their own accord.

A young lady and her child were driving home when a truck with three construction workers, all intoxicated, hit her and killed her and the child. It was a hit and run since they drove off, but two cars kept pursuing them and led the cops to them.

Here it's one of the hottest discussion topics now. It is their fault of course for driving drunk, but is it our government's fault as well for not enforcing our borders and penalizing employers? Is it employers' fault for hiring these people to attract them to come here? Is it also Mexico's fault for turning a blind eye to the situation here?

The woman's husband is suing the government because he says that if we enforced our laws, the illegal immigrant would not be here and his wife and child would still be alive.

OK, here's my idea. Have companies that hire illegal immigrants pay them their salary (like when a worker is fired) and also pay for their tickets back home. If companies don't do this within a week, the Chamber of Commerce will put these companies on a black list. Companies refusing to do this will be closed down and the whole business will be bankrupt. There would be talks between the U.S. government and the governments of the illegals involved to provide for these governments not to send these people back into the country illegally. Escorts will take these illegals back to their home country, with agents receiving them in their home country. No companies will be exempt from this. I personally think that this idea is good because you're punishing the ones that start this problem, the employers.

How can they issue any kind of state government ID to make it legal for them to drive and go to work, etc. Why are these people not being turned over to ICE? I just don't get it. It narrowly passed through the state house and now I think they're stalling until Nov. to pass it - and just like Bush with the immigration reform bill, Gov. Rod Blagojevich, a Republican, has pledged to sign the bill. The bill is sponsored by Democrats - which rule in Illinois now.

What is going on with our government that they're not enforcing our laws and are giving privileges to illegals?

I found an interesting report online. It suggest that fertility in Mexico and other Latin American countries are in sharp decline, as a result fewer ppl will be coming to the U.S. legally or not since there will be more job opportunities offered and better education will be available in those countries due to the decline in population.
