Very interesting article. Thanks for providing it. To your point, as long as we keep give them free services, they will continue to come. The Mexican government is a s corrupt as the day is long and not about to do anything to stop their people for crossing our borders. We need to crack down on the freebies and make it very difficult indeed for any one who thinks it;s OK to sneak in to our country and break our laws. That includes boycotting and not buying the product from the companies who use illegals in their work force.

That's nice, but what about other 3rd world countries? In 10 years or so, improved transportation technology will make it quicker and easier to come to this country from anywhere.
Unfortunately, the business of America is business for the forseeable future. This means American enterprises in a globalized economy will usually look for the people that will accept the lowest wages to perform unskilled jobs. To counteract this predicament and give the American citizen underclass a chance for reasonable employment, harsh penalties must be meted out to any business that hires an illegal alien.
These penalties can only be justified if the SSA becomes a more active participant in the verification process so that the word "knowingly" which usually comes before the word "hires" can be eliminated from the law. The current criminal and credit info databases don't seem to have the information necessary to effectively screen someone with a phony SS card.

I doubt that even if the birth rate slows, the conditions in Mexico and most of Latin American are such that many would still want to enjoy the riches of this country, and being that there are 24 million Mexicans here now more would want to joint their family here, not for the benefits of course

With the failing of the shamnesty bill The Dem's are going to have a ruff time comes election with the way they tried to sell the USA out. There must be some mighty upset criminal illegal aliens. We will have to keep the pressure on to close the borders & enforce the laws.

The illegal immigration problem is immediate. Suggesting that a decline in fertility will prove to be a relief to this epidemic is like suggesting that we don't need to do anything about Global Warming because nature will work it out.
By the way, I do realize that Global Warming is fact, I do not agree however with the liberal panic and drama as to the extent of it and what will eventually happen as a result of this phenomenon. The illegal immigration issue is however a CURRENT and DRAMATIC problem which demands our immediate and enthusiastic attention.

That's true in most countries. People in impoverished countries such as Mexico have less money, therefore, less incentive to make children, because they have less to support them with. The problem, however, will not decline. There will be a lot. There will be a lot more foreign investment, therefore more jobs in those countries. But only time will tell what will happen in the end.

No, Mexicans are gonna take over your country, since the populations in states like California, Texas, and so on are becoming ever more Mexican-American, and you can't do anything about it rascist.

When I lived in LA. It was not uncommon to see Sancha pregnant, one baby in her arms, and 3 other kids walking next to her. They breed like mormons. All in the name of God.lol
