Immigration - July 2007

I understand that anyone from either of the American continents is technically an American. However Americans from the USA use this term to designate themselves as citizens of The United States of America. Just as someone from Argentina is an Argentinian, or from Peru a Peruvian, or from Mexico a Mexican. Lately I hear a lot of people saying "we are Americans too" when they are from Mexico or other places. You wouldn't hear a Canadian call themselves an American, I don't think.
This is a new thing for me. I've never had anyone think me narrow minded for calling myself an American, for being an American, maybe : ) but not for calling myself one. Any feedback is good. I just like to hear what people think.

There is now way to track these sex offenders. The Government does not know they are. They do not have to advise police of who they are,where they live.This is becoming more of the norm and people who want open borders do not take into account we also have people like walking the streets of America without worry or concern..COLUMBIA, Tenn.- A manhunt in Maury County led to the arrest of at least 18 undocumented immigrants.

Maury County Sheriff's deputies and federal agents arrested them in Columbia Tuesday morning.

Police were looking for Juan Villa, a suspect in a child rape case.

He is accused of raping a 15-year-old girl less than six hours after being released from jail.

Six of the people arrested were Villa's relatives.

Why do the right wing talk radio addicted xenophobic bigots stop lying about how they care about the rule of law, what is good for America,and justy be honest ?
Why not just admit that thay fear and hate anyone who talks, speaks and looks different from them, and that even though by being born white, they hava had an advantage from the day they were born, they are still stuggling because of their own ignorance, and they fear yet another group will make then even less able to compete ?
Don't you think they will feel better if they tell the truth about their fear and hate, instead of telling lies ?

I have worked for at least three major corporations where illegal immigrants were very willingly hired. These corporations look after legal requirements by insisting that an applicant have a Social Security card and drivers license. They make little if any attempt to verify that the Social Security number and drivers license are valid.

The reason that I state that these corporations KNOWINGLY employ illegal immigrants is that I have observed the human resources department coaching applicants. This coupled with the FACT that these people are usually placed into the lowest paying positions and that these people DO NOT speak even ONE WORD of english seem to be major indicators to me.

Since the amnesty bill didn't pass through, we are back to square 1.

Someone please explain this:

If undocumented immigrants are so bad for society by supposedly not paying taxes, stealing other people's S.S. numbers, etc. then why are you anti-immigrant people so happy that the bill for this issues would be that would be resolved didnt go through?

Human injustices, being paid les than minimum wage, being attacked consistently by racist media organizations and even gov. officials (tancredo) is just not going to continue happening.

Both want to take over countries.

Muslims extremists (like the terrorist Doctor caught in England) want to change Western Countries into lslamic countries, and Mexican undocumented workers want to change America into another Mexico. Mexico even funds anti-assimilation classes for undocumented workers in America. And Mexicans talk of killing Americans in order to take over America.

It is all about taking over countries by making babies. Muslim extremists tell Muslims to use the birth method to take over countries. And according to statistics, Mexicans make more babies in the U.S. than if they would have stayed in Mexico.

And because of Mexican law, the U.S. born children of undocumented Mexicans are automatically Mexican citizens. That dual citizenship automatically raises a red flag about the possible lack of loyalty to America. Lack of loyalty has been exhibited by their kids demands for amnesty and the removal of the Mexican border.

Why do the right wing republuican bigots keep talking about amnisty, when no amnisty was propoesed ?
Why do they have to tune into right wing nazi talk radio to find out what their opinion should bhe ?
Why are they such cowards, that they fear women and children because they happen to speak a different language?
Why, when all the facts point out that undocumented imagrants are actually a net gain for the economy, do they keep claiming they cost taxpayers money ?
Is it becuse the facts don't support their hate, fear and racism, so they have to spew lies to try to make their point ?
Is it that their parents were racist pigs who abused them and exposed tehm to hate and ignorance during ther childhoods ?

Nine Hudson County residents have been picked up in a number of recent U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement sweeps that captured 131 people, including a Dominican national with a criminal record living in Kearny, officials said.

During June, ICE fugitive operations teams fanned out across the state to capture 71 criminal and fugitive non-documented residents, and during the investigations also arrested 60 other people who were in the county illegally, said Adam Puharic, spokesman for the Newark ICE office.



Among the criminals caught was Ricardo Anthony Rondon, 31, of Kearny, a Dominican national who has a 2000 conviction for drug possession with intent to distribute, and a 2002 conviction for aggravated assault, Puharic said.

Our 2 Liberal Senators from New Jersey voted to give criminals like Ricardo immediate freedom and citizenship in this Country had that travesty of a Shamnesty bill passed.

If the visa issued to a Filipino prior to receiving the plain ticket states VALIDITY: 2 MONTHS and the WORK POSITION/ DESIGNATION on this supposed visa states differently from the actual position offered by the employer, could this be bogus even if the applicant was interviewed in person by the foreign principal? Shouldn't the visa have at least 3years validity? I've read in one travel guide book that some applicants who had employers were issued a 2-month visit visa WHILE the resident/working visa is underway as this process is very tedious and takes a long time. Is this true? The recruitment agency justifies the irregularity in the POSITION because some employers opt to declare a position that would cost them lesser fee in processing the visa but would still honor the agreed position during the job offer to applicant. Is this true?

soo last march, i spent a month in hong kong for a student exchange..needless to say i instantly fell in love. my home town in ontario is very small, close to farm life but not quite (we have a tim hortons)
anyways, i hate where i live with a passion, and i really want to move to asia. im thinking about the japan area.
im working on getting a full time job here so i can go there next summer..
but is 18 too young to move to the other side of the world? and also how hard will it be for me to get a visa to live there?
home sickness is not an issue either. the only thing i strive for is getting away.
also i would not be completely alone in japan, i have a very good friend who lives there.

All this talk and all this web sight build up against illegal immigration. What is amazing is how many protest the illegals have yet i dont see any white people marching on the white house or in there city heck maybe there are a few, but in really small numbers. Is it finally alright for us to say "enough is enough" without the racist tag being applied to us? Is the proper description now a perhaps an overly generous people that are finally worried about their country becoming something they don't want it to become? A German is free to voice his objection to things that make his country "less German" so is someone from Italy. They take intense pride in the fact that they are who they are and love the land they live in, UNCHANGED. Could it be that we have finally walked through the door and decided to close it behind us, allowing in only those who politely stand in line and knock? It's not about race. It's not really so much about terrorisim, either. It's about "Americanisim." Are we finally allowing ourselves the freedom of keeping our country "ours" in the form that WE choose it to be? I certainly hope so. Thank God for our immigrants that come here legally to become assimilated AMERICANS. We could not have built this nation without you.

would you pay more taxes or a special fund so that the government has enough funds to arrest, process, have a trial, and finally deport. Take in mind you will need more prisons\holding cells, more vehicles, more officers, more offices, more equiptment, etc...... If not how do you plan on deporting 12-20million ppl. Do you really want to close all possible work and have them run deeper into the shadows and possible force them into a life of crime so they can survive?? Are you willing to pay for all the legal battles?? What would you do with the Children that are US citizens. Please give actual educated answers not just go home, deport them all, illegal is illegal, blah, blah, blah. We need solutions not bumper stickers.

I think it is wrong for them to get everything they need for free,a family of five are issued with afamily car,each family gets two mobile phones each,free housing fullyfurnished,free food,clothing,There Children are put into schools,where they get one to teaching from a separte teacher,to the other children in there class,.There is no wonder they dont want to go back to where they have came from,everything here is free,and they dont even have to do anything for the handouts they are getting,and most of the refugees are working,without saying anything,all they do is grab grab grab,out for nothing, I think the goverenment should take a good look at our country and say enough is enough,and start to take care of the British people who live here in England. There is plenty of countries who wont have them in there country,its time for a change MR BROWN.
