After parents sacrifice so much to send them to college so they can get a good job only to have businesses do this.

Something must be done to stop this.

It's kind of apparent that none of you (so far) haven't watched the video, so I'll sum it up for you.

The video is from a legal seminar on how to meet government requirements that a job must be offered to US citizens before a business can apply to get a green card for a foreign worker. It teaches American businesses how NOT to hire an American.

petey -
I don't care what it takes to get a green card for an immigrant worker. These businesses ARE breaking the law because the law is that they must look for an American for a job opening first and this video clearly shows that they are NOT. They are doing everything they can to NOT find an American.

I couldn't agree with you more. Big business has mainstreamed the idea that undercutting American worker wages is somehow holy in furtherance of 'free trade' as if 'free trade' were a religious commitment.

We built this country and its wealth and its opportunities, and they are being systematically drained and pilfered to get greater profits for our wealthy at the expense of opportunity for our people.

You are so right, there are people like John Walsh making a difference and he has been doing this for over 20 years after the death of his son who was murdered. With his many appearances on "Larry King" show on CNN and his own TV show "America's most wanted" some good things have changed with laws in some states. The stepfather of Shawn Hornbeck started doing something right after Shawn went missing along with his mother by forming a foundation to do something to make people aware of these terrible CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN. It all starts with the people who have been affected and the rest of the population who has empathy for all who have suffered. Together they have to make waves that change the laws. The judges we elect must be strong in their decisions how the criminal should be punished and for how long or should their lives be taken away if they committed murder or even worse torture for many days, weeks, months or years. Let the time fit the crime. Social scientists have studied people who are guilty of doing things to others that causes permanent damage or death. Some say they need pity and treatment. Others say let them rot in a cell in solitary confinement. Others say it costs the citizens too much money to house and feed them for years and years. There are many things that have to be seriously thought out how to handle these people men and women that harm children. There will never be a perfect answer that fits each crime but if we take these crimes seriously and demand from our local, state and federal officers to put them away, out of sight then at least they are not on the streets and not in reach of our loved ones.

You may not like this answer but probably nothing, anyways its up to parents to think about the realistics of your childs future an education does not mean a job, you need to teach your kids hardwork, responsibility, and self motivation for them to survive. My dad is well off and has never finished school Ive been living on my own since 15 (with court permission) and Im now 25 dropped out of college cause I couldnt afford it and since 18 Ive held jobs and possitions Ive gotten myself that most adults 2-3 times my age will never reach, I was an administrator for AT&T Wireless for 3 years from 19-22 and since Im an administrator for a large realestate firm. No correlating education I was just hand picked out of 100's of employees due to my hardwork and striving to excel constantly

why are you so offended at that video. Thats how the system works...you guys are ALWAYS saying to follow the law...well those lawyers ARE FOLLOWING THE LAW AS ITS STATED IN THE CURRENT IMMIGRATION SYSTEM!! Thats why reform needs to be done!
Your whole arguments are so misinformed and simply dumb...you dont know jack **** about the current immigration system and you act like you do....please do some reading how a person can actually apply for PERM....

and whats with that protecting kids after college crap? If your kid needs the government or their parents to care for them after college then theres a problem...

its not that I dont see anything wrong with it but how many people on your side say you are not American if you dont follow the law even if you dont agree with it....theres a difference between whats right and whats the law.

The government wants them here. It does not seem that they will do anything for our children. So we need to fight back. Don't be silent.
Ever heard of the North American Union ?? Google it !!

Expecting the people who created the problem to solve the problem is a little like the definition of insanity.

There is no point in going to college if the only jobs are service jobs - how much education do you need to work at McDonald's or Wal-Mart?

Revolution.

Sounds like the Government has provided all the loopholes these immigration lawyers and companies need to screw us.
Makes me want to drop out of college and start kicking traitors A**es.
That is the lowest bunch of Anti-American scum I have ever seen.
I would treat them worse than the illegals at the rallies if I could get ahold of them.

Thank you for this link. The speaker actually told us what we can do. They do have to comply with the law and advertise their job openings. Now we know where and when to look. This is crazy, though. Has it come to the point that citizens will have to hold seminars to learn how to get jobs that are being held for immigrant workers? Maybe we do need a revolution.

Well our kids protection depend on us not the goverment, and respect to the video it is all about the money i know many people think that illigal imigrants are bad for the country, but obously the goverment does not take a full step to stop it, so there must be something good coming out of illigal imigration, just like drugs, relly we can go accros the world and destroy a coutries army in less than a month but we cannot spot drugs and illigal immigration come on it is all about the money, the goverment dont care about your, my, our kids they care about votes and money

Raise your children so they get jobs that immigrants cannot take. I am studying law and I will never have to deal with this issue because you are required to have a degree from an American ABA approved institution to practice in this nation.

Being dependent on anyone is quazi-slavery.
