I asked this question before but I have changed my mind. It would be next to impossible to avoid all Mexican products, so how about this? Don't go to Mexico for vacations. Tourism is a big source of revenue for Mexico. But there are many other places to go. Hawaii is one. What do you think?

Yes I know Mexico is less expensive, but I would rather pay more somewhere else knowing that Mexico is being hurt.

I already am boycotting Mexico and havent been there in 50 yrs. I buy all my Mexican food thru American restaurants and if the waiter is Mexican, I ask to see their green card.

I dont think thats unreasonable, do you? I mean, illegal Mexicans come here and crap and mail their money home, why cant they mail their crap home and leave their money here?

It's not impossible to boycott Mexican products; I work hard to not buy anything from China, India, and Mexico as I think those 3 countries are the most hostile to the US. Besides the quality is just awful. I heard mexican beer has formaldehyde in it.

Try Florida if Hawaii costs too much.

Why the hell would you like to hurt Mexico, MExicans are good people, let me give you an example you sick, when Hurricane Katrina, Mexico sent food and help that arrived to the scene faster than any American help. Americans buy all kinds of US made crap. More than what we buy Mexican. The Mexican goverment and the Mexican people are not guilty for the Immigration problem. If the US would ever boycott or embargo Mexico we would only get more Immigrants, like the cubans we get every day right here in Miami. Thousands of them escpae the island because people cant live there anymore. Mexicans are good people and your suggestion is just stupid. You sound like a redneck SOAB.
Good luck with your miserable life.

If you want do it, so do it, but mexican enjoy US frecuently and Hawaii too, Cayman Islands of course, and I don´t find the reason for people don´t go to Mexico if many people from US live in México.

I never go to mexico for anything and I surely will never change my mind on that now. I used to go often. I actually do avoid every mexican product and business when there is another choice available...and there almost always is a better choice available.

It would be a start. But you would also have to boycott the Katholik church, they are incouraging these illegal aliens to come here also. The katholik church is looking for more mexicans to fill its church.

Why should we boycott Mexico? Haven't those guys got enough problems already? They're a third-world country. Do you think they see a dime from all those resorts you want to boycott? With the exception of the meager wages they receive for being staff at those places, the big money goes into the pockets of the fat, wealthy Americans who built the resorts in the first place. When you're at one of those resorts, they're usually all-inclusive with food and beverages, so it's not likely that you're going to any indigenous family-owned restaurants with authentic Mexican cuisine. You're probably jet-skiing instead of shopping for handcrafted Mexican goods in a marketplace. I just don't think your boycott would really do much to make Mexicans' lives any harder, assuming that was your goal in the first place.

Besides, did you know that an off-season trip for two to Mexico costs as much as a trip for one to Hawaii? It's true...

I was going to try to be funny about this, like, I better not see you eating a taco or I'm going to be furious, but the whole issue is one I feel really strongly about.

Mexico is awesome. Mexican people are great. Our country would hardly work without the people that come, at risk, to work hard to better themselves and support their families.

Mexican food is great. Mexican culture is great. Mexican movies are great. Mexican music and art are great. Mexican beaches and vacations are great.

What's the problem here, dude?

We're all human beings and nationalism is bullshit.

I am planning on a surf trip to Mexico and I get my dental work done there. My jeep has a dent in it so I am going there to have it worked on. I also would rather pay 50 dollars an ounce for brick as opposed to 400 dollars an ounce for homegrown hydro. Kapeesh?
