There are more illegal immigrants from Mexico than there are from Canada, but the terrorists of 9/11 came into the U.S. from Canada, so who knows who has come in since then. I think we should permenantly shut down the northern border (the southern border is a different issue, its not even used by Mexicans, they just walk in, so different issue) and stop Canadians from coming into our country. Even the "good" ones that come here just to visit are usually rude and arrogant and they think its ok to use Canadian money here. I'm sick of seeing cars on the highway with Ontario license plates. There are too many Canadians that visit, and probably a lot of terrorists come in through Canada. I think it's time we ban Canadians coming in. We don't need Canada ... they need us, but that's not our problem.

What do you think? Should we ban Canadians from coming into the U.S.?

No we should not ban the Canadians. They should be allowed (and encouraged) to visit, they are great neighbors, they are quiet and mind their own business plus they go home after they visit - I wish all neighbors were like Canada and I will remind you that the 9/11 terrorists were not Canadians just people coming through our border to the North (legally), why blame the Canadians because we have broken borders, if you want to get mad at someone try our government for not enforcing our borders or stopping visa abuse.

Canadians come and spend a couple of weeks at our beaches, drop some major $$ and then go home, who are they hurting?

Never ban Canadians!
They are not any more rude than Americans. They speak English, they obey and respect laws. They come here legally. Canada does not secure it's borders and allows all kinds of Arabs in who were performing honor killings on their own family members in Toronto. Yes, they've got problems but BLAME AMERICA for letting in the Terrorists for 9-11. They were here on visas. AMERICA taught them how to fly planes!

It's wrong to even think that because you've met rude Canadians, a block should be placed on them. Besides, USA is imposing the requirement of a mandatory passport to leave and re-enter USA. This means all Americans cannot go to Canada for the day without paying $95 for a passport. This is US law, not Canada. SO worry about the places Y*O*U are restricted from traveling.

Seriously think about it...what if every country blocked people just because they needed an attitude adjustment? You'd be on that list, ya know.

I am responding to your question only because as an American (US Citizen) you are embarrassing me.

And to all my Canadian friends... let me apologize for this persons rude behavior.

Even though her words are protected by the Constitution, so are mine.

I am a shamed that you would speak so poorly of our neighbors to the North. Blaming them for 911. Get real you twit!

Canada is the US of A's number one trading partner and I doubt they would do anything but cooperate with us in defending her.

So you nincompoop shut your pie hole and think twice before you open your 100 caliber mouth because your making sounds from your 22 caliber backside.

They won't know you're Canadian so I don't see why it would be a problem. Actually, even if they did it wouldnt make a difference either. I think it'd be great if you did. You are one of the many accounts of non-Americans who would vote Paul if they could. I think it's funny that he has a lot of support in areas that are outside of the American media propaganda machine.

Um, the 911 terrorists weren't Canadian, they just came through there. I agree we need to secure both borders, but at least we have cooperation from the Canadians on the northern side.

What are you doing to these people that they are reacting rudely to you? I've never met a rude Canadian. My brother in law lives in the US and work in Canada. I know many Canadians who work in the US. It's a win win. Let's leave the border open.

You are an anti-canadian for sure. For you;all the evil comes from Canada exclusively. How do you know you have no danger between your own citizens? From the south of border may be?.You are saying the danger to this country could come only from Canada. You have to think before you talk. and do a research.

You don't need Canada, you say;but you need Irak and its petroleum!!!

Sure, they came from Canada, but what you forgot to mention is they came legally. When they commited the crime, 3 out of 4 of them had overstayed their visas. Here's an idea. How about we enforce our laws? Deport illegal immigrants.
