I remember two things about it: I laughed my head off at the reactions of the rich when their Mexicans disappeared, and I recall thinking that the movie was not that much of an exaggeration. Anyone else?

http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2006/3/27/114208.shtml read the info on that link! The numbers are slightly different at current time, but the report still rings true... Roughly four percent of the U.S. population is illegal immigrants, yet SEVENTEEN percent of our federal prison population is illegals. I hear to often that many are fleeing the violence and corruption of Mexico; in my opinion a more accurate statement would be that they are BRINGING MEXICO'S VIOLENCE AND CORRUPTION WITH THEM when they come here.

I am against amnesty, and the majority of Americans are against amnesty, but what would we do, if Congress did give it to them? I don't think they will, some people on here seem to think so though, so I was just curious what we would do, if they voted to give it to them... I'm sure it will be on the table at some point again.

Pro illegal explain to me how amnesty would help our country? By your logic America depends on their cheap labor. If they became Americans I guess they would demand equal pay right? Then wouldn't we need a whole new batch of illegals to work for the low paying wages?

U.S Government identify the Industries and Markets who hire these workers and automatically deduct a certain percentage to cover the expenses of health care facilities that are used by these workers.

I think this should be made into law, this way Companies are made cover the bills and not taxpayers.

My fiance is in the U.S. but didn't use the proper channels to enter the country. We're getting married next year but I know this will not give him any kind of legal status here. What can we do to help him obtain citizenship without having to send him back to his country and without having to spend a fortune on a lawyer only to find out he can't help us? I'd appreciate anyone who has some insight on this situation. Thank you!

I need to apply for my green card through marriage. I know to file these papers will cost me about 5-600 dollars. to use visapro will cost another 1000. I do not mind paying for professional services if they are exactly that. I know of some people who filed the papers without any attorney assistance? would you reccomend that way to save money? Not sure what direction to go. Any (genuine)help or suggestions would be appreciated.
