I think anyone who takes advantage of these people and uses them for cheap labor, should go straight to jail.....

Make no mistake- the rich in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, and Miami all take advantage of illegals everyday. Whether it's as a day-laborer, a caregiver, a lawn-care provider... Did anyone ever see the movie "A Day Without Mexicans"? If not, I recommend it. It is not an exaggeration.

Local grape farmers used to hire women part time to tie grapes, sucker, pull brush and pick grapes. These women usually had kids in school or someone they could pay 1 dollar an hour to watch their kids and still make money to add to their family income.
Now those baby sitters are subject to taxation, the women can't make enough money in the vineyard to pay the baby sitter and still profit. Illegals tend to those jobs.
The grape farmers and buyers make out good.
Illegals don't just break the law coming here, they break income taxation laws and are not pursued. Americans are pursued unfairly because they are easy to nail down and extort the money from.
We want the jobs, we want the benefits.
Can't pay me like an American?
Pay me like an Illegal and Tax me like one Too!

I suspect that I have hired gardeners, tree trimmers, and house cleaners who were illegal immigrants.
I am a Libertarian, and I am not going to go around asking people if they are legal immigrants. If they can do the job, and the price is right, I will hire them.
