well i am in the same situation. my fiance is american. if you and him are going to be getting married soon there is a fiance visa. he can work and eventualy apply for US citizenship. with this one, you have 90 to get married from the time he enters the country. you can always go with the work visa or a working tourist visa too. but the fiance one will be the quickest way to get a visa. good luck and congrats

Work visa until you are married and then he will receive a green card then by going through the process you must file for citezenship if he wants to be a citizen.
