If he is already legalized, you can't deport him. Sorry Hun, all you can do is go to court, and get a restraining order if he is a danger to you. You can go "in pro per", meaning you will be your own lawyer, and it's free. Go to Family Court, and the front desk will tell you everything you need to know. They're VERY helpful in situation's like yours.
You will need evidence of his abuse, like police reports you have made to the police, they are easily gotten. I HOPE you called the police on him! If you have any witnesses to his behavior towards you, and your family, it's a bonus. I have been through this exact same thing, except my ex-husband was a citizen. If you need any other information, please email me. By the way, I also got full custody of my son, and my Ex can't even visit him! Good luck, Hun, no matter what NEVER take abuse! You don't have to! If there is any alcoholism on his part, tell the judge that, too! Good luck!

If you are a US citizen, and your marriage lasted less than 2 years, then your ex-husband's premanent residence is conditional and will be revoked after your divorce.

The other thing to do is to get a restraining order against him if you feel threatened. If he commits a violent felony, you can report him to Immigration, and they will determine if he committed a deportable offense.

Well, if you've been married for more than 3 years, there's not a lot you can do except get a restraining order on him. I recommend contacting your lawyer and he can advise you on what to do. He's the professional, not these people on Yahoo Answers.

Is he really a threat? You just sound like you'd like some payback. You cannot have him deported, because thanks to you, he is now here legally. You should report him to the police if he's really a threat.

If you haven't been married for three years yet, he will automatically be deported usually. Just bring it to the attention of the people that have done the legitamacy checks on you. If it has been more than three years, he is legal and you can't do anything about it.

If his two year conditional status hasn't expired then he is already deportable. If he hasn't committed a deportable offense then there is nothing you can do.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorn! or something like that yikes!

It is not up to you. If he got citizenship he has the same rights as you or me and rightly so. If he is a threat have a restraint order filled.

OK hes threatening you. So get dirty.
I am sure your husband is habouring secret anti American thoughts about the Iraq, Iran & Palestine situations.
I swear i saw him dancing on 9-11.
This man is a terrorist sympathizer and an enemy of the free west.
He is an anti American and only married you so he could legitimize himself in the US so he can commit his dirty deeds unhindered.
And lady he only married you so he could boast to his friends that he has F***ed up an American.
Report your suspicions to Homeland security NOW.
You will be surprised at the response (but not as surprised as that freak)

maybe you could just tell them that he is a threat and explain why and see how u can have him deported at the police station.

If he is a threat, you go to the cops like you would in a normal domestic abuse situation.
