then how come when I was in college and I lived in Mexican neighborhood they all would be so happy to have a white tennant becuase they felt I would always pay my rent and be respectful, Im not making this up, I loved my Mexican neighbors but they were vey racist, They would never rent to blacks especially Jamaicans, They liked renting to light skinned latinos and whites esp,,if they could get one

There was also alot of racial dialouge with them about how white people are cold people and how blacks are stupid and lazy, but then they would also say they were ashamed of thier own people sometimes,,they would even cry over this stuff

everybody was always a gringo or a black guy or a chino or a dominican first, and foremost, before they woulod even talk to a person

I think the Mexican culture is wonderful but is sadly drenched in racist ideology,, I just find it ironic how they in turn believe that Americans are more racsit then they are

anyone agree ,, disagree

Why should they be separated from their parents when it comes down to deport them? We should let them stay together and send the children with them back to wherever they came from...

Many UK companies are employing workers from other EU countries because they say they cannot find suitably skilled staff after trying to recruit from within the country, i use engineering as one example where school leavers are said to be lacking in the basic skills to be considerd for employment,if this is true then what has the government really done for education other than impose un-workable and silly targets for school staff and failed future generations with their control freakery methods which have never worked ( look at the state of the health service ).
I have nothing against employing immigrant labour if they can fill the ever widening skills gap and do the work some of us British refuse to do but why has this happened in the first place when Blair promised such wonderfull things and yet has not really delivered,is he really just a man of empty and meaningless words?

My friend was stationed in the Philippines and married a Filipino in 1991. They went through all the procedures to have her come to the US legally, got permission to marry from the US government and everything else. Because of the volcano eruption, they had to leave the Philippines early before the entire process was completed. She entered the US legally, but then the INS and philippine govt. Believed that she had already been married to someone else and her marriage to my friend was not legitimate and she was to be deported. Even if she was really married, she would have only been 12 and it would have been null and void. It was INS' and Philippine governments mistake because she was never married, but she is still having problems with staying in the US. She is law-abiding, pays taxes, and has 2 children that are US citizens and she does not want to leave them nor does she want to bring them to the philippines. Do you think that it is fair?

I think it is because of their liberal bowing down to illegal immigrants. They pay for every service an illegal immigrant wants. Food stamps, medical bills, its like an illegal alien heaven.

My friend is planning a visit to Canada in Christmas (for 10 days) and he is an indian passport holder presently in UK as an international student. he still has 2 years left on his student visa, and one more year for his studies to complete. His uncle (who is a permanent residence in Canada) would be sponsoring him for all his living and staying costs. My question is, what are the chances of him getting the visit visa as he is an international student in UK, if he shows all the necessary documents to the immigration officer ? Its like do they give Canadian visit visa to international students studying in UK ? Any similar real life experience is appreciated. THANKS!!!
