I think living in Japan, especially the cities, would be a particularly high-pressured environment (that's the impression i get from newspaper reports on the high level of suicides). There is certainly an impression that many Japanese people are confined within a strict rule-based system of conduct and responsibility. But i am interested in japanese history and culture, and would love to visit and see all the ancient buildings, urban street fashions etc. Ultimately i wouldn't want to change my nationality at all, i'm happy being British!

Not really. Find certain elements of their culture a bit oppresive. Women arnt exactly treated equally and ive met a few japanese girls in their 20s and 30s. They act like their 12.

no, i wouldnt like being a japanese person, because its an island area, and its on a major fault line, also because some japanese people that play an online game called Ultima Online are jerks.

No I'd be from a small tribe in Africa or South America. It would be so much nicer to live day to day life not knowing of all the hatred and misery in the rest of the world.

The Japanese are very polite people, and its great shopping over there because I'm taller than most Japanese. I prefer America over any other place in the world.

Go to Nanking musuem in China and see what the japanese did to the Chinese people in that city , it made your blood boiled and wanted to beat up any Japanese anywhere anytime.

Yeah i wouldn't mind they have such a good culture. Their food is the healthiest in the world , their fast paced technology and the whole oriental culture intrigues me. I think it would be nice.

i think it would have to be asian (pakistani) there allready taking over britain so when the time comes when they overtake our country at least i wouldnt be shot or have my throat split, trust thats what there planning when there more of them than there is english (almost there) it will happen so every1 become a pakistani or muslim and u wont be killed.
