American criminals are America's problem.
Criminal trespassers from other countries are becoming America's problem, to the detriment of all Americans.

Ya....Americans commit crimes. Americans take a risk everyday as to whether theyre caught or not and when they do they have to pay the price. These guys have pushed their luck quotient and they are getting caught too. Time to pay the consequences. That's like telling a robber who got away with a few robberys that it's OK to go ahead and do it since we didn't nail you the first time. They should consider it an over-used grace period and just go peacefully instead of whining about it.

What the argument of "well Americans break laws too" means is that because a few do it, you can't assume that all undocumented immigrants are criminals, drug dealers, robbers, etc., because that is a sweeping generalization.
A commonly used argument by people who is against immigration is that because they've seen in TV that mexicans rob x person, or that members from salvadorean gangs performed x or y action then all immigrants are dangerous, and that's just a stupid conclusion.
If crimes comitted by white people were to receive the same coverage then would we assume that all white people are criminals?
Oh and about undocumented immigrants being criminals because they broke immigration law. You must remember that this is a law that hasn't been enforced for a long time, and also that no one is a criminal unless that person has already been prosecuted, so it's tecnically incorrect to say that undocumented immigrants are criminals

I agree, ship them back where they came from and never let them back.
santapatita - the legal term is illegal immigrant, not the politically incorrect term of undocumented immigrant:
illegal immigrant
n. an alien (non-citizen) who has entered the United States without government permission or stayed beyond the termination date of a visa.

I totally agree. Whoever commits any crime should be deported to their country of origin. Lets start with the oldest criminals. You and your fore-fathers were the first ones - since arrival in this land as illegal immigrants and killed numerous native Americans. Why don't you respect your own law and pack up your things and leave for whereever you came from in Europe ?

Yes if we break the law we pay. In the case of illegal immigrants, the fine should be deportation.
