What could the BBC or Government do then?

Or, say 1 Million people stop paying? Impossible to take that many to court and so others might follow.

Is this war turning slowly into another Vietnam. Lets just get out and loose. The hell with the troops. We don't really care about them. Soldiers and Sailors keep off the grass were real signs I saw in the 60s and 70s. Is this going to happen again. Shouldn't we no matter what the cause of the war go in and win it. Let the American people know we are still the superpower we have been. Let the world know not to mess with Big Bad Leroy Brown and face the fact that if we are coming to get you we will find you?

It's getting to be rather tiresome.

If you ever stopped to ask any of us democrats, we've lost people and have people serving who may not be home for the holidays too.

By the way, MoveOn.org has already raised 250,000 dollars to allow all the troops to call home for the holidays... if you would like to donate to this cause, here is the link:

Are we finally past the time when one party thinks that they own the military and speak for all its members?

Furthermore, what can we do for the 10,000+ soldiers who suffer from PTSD?
You know, they are 70% less likely to recieve all the benefits they were promised...

to everyone? If people start thinking it is "free" we are going to have real problems keeping costs down, which is what we have now because people have no clue what it costs, regardless.

I did not believe in the conspiracy before. But after having watched this film (all 21 parts) I've started to think that 9/11 was an inside job

Please, I want to hear your opinion about the documentary film. What do you think is not true there?

I just left a part-time job working in a one-girl office for a consultant. I got out because this guy was shady, I never knew if he'd be able to pay me or not due to all his bounced checks and overdrawn business bank account. I've got a great full-time job and a new career. I want nothing to do with this former employer but he keeps trying to hold on to me by emailing me questions (like where a file is - that he knows, he's just lazy). The man is scary and I want to cut ties. He asked me if I'd come work for him once a month on Sat. mornings, etc. How do I cut ties with this jerk? He's bad news and isn't honest, he is still using my old email address to harrass people who owe him money. I don't like my name being used in disguise. What's a firm way to tell him he needs to stop and that I'm no longer available to do anything for him?

I was pulled over for "failure to drive in one lane" which basically the cop say means I veared into the bike lane for a moment. Anyway... BAC came back .087 second test .098.

1. There was five minutes between both tests. Does that not seem like a huge variation?
2. Will a prosecutor still really pursue those and go to trial if that is the only evidence and if one reading is within a 10%margin of error that may mean I was not legally intoxicated.? I submitted to no field sobriety tests and answered no questions.

Thanks!

Most theories, it seems, suggest that economic superiority proceeds political superiority. But I can't help but notice a striking difference between Ancient and Modern times in relation to this theory.

When I think of power politics in modern times I see countless examples of a new or existing state that suddenly gains and economic edge which is a precursor to later political gains. Take the unification of Germany and Italy. The modernization of Japan and the USSR. The rise of the British Empire.

But in ancient times the story seems to be reversed. Rome, compared to the territories in the East it conquered, was relatively poor and backwards in almost every field. Likewise when Rome collapsed it wasn't to a more economically superior competing state or coalition, it was scattered waves of poor Germanic and Central Asian tribes. Macedonia and Alexander the Great were similarly poor and backwards compared to their victims the Persian Empire.

Anyone have some insight?

Warren D has fielded a Question concerning an interim tanker/transport for Air Mobility Command, U. S. Air Force. The Boeing KC-135 has performed the Strategic Tanker mission since 1954; although the McDonnellDouglas KC-10 was purchased as a KC-135 replacement, the KC-10 was found to have certain shortcomings. The best solution appears at this time to be development of a new aircraft, to be termed KCX.

A new issue appearing in the 1990's, that was not a factor in the KC-135 and KC-10 development programs, is the need for low radar and infrared observability--both the KC-135 and KC-10 are sitting ducks for SAM systems that would be unable to lock up either the USAF/Northrop Grumman B-2A bombardment aircraft or the USAF/Lockheed Martin F-22A tactical pursuit/attack aircraft.

What should KCX be capable of, quantity-wise?
