Some say that curbing illegal immigration is foreign policy, but I know that it's not that way. Can any one explain?

Say that a company works its employees to midnight or aorund there, and then they have to turn around and go back to work 6-9 hours later the next day.

Is it a legitimate (and legal) argument if you say that the company ignored health concerns? Such as, making employees work these kinds of shifts can cause significant health concerns/problems such as sleep problems, depression, and even an early death. Doesnt a lack of sleep (because the body needs an average 8 hours) cause those problems with people... I know scientists and doctors state that getting too little sleep causes health problems.

Thank you!

He said i had to wait until the next day to get it back. He put it in his desk drawer without locking it and told me not to mention it again. Then afterschool he said i could get it back if i participate in a debate that i had to prepare for in 10 minutes. After I basically won, he called me outside and asked the value, then said it was stolen. He didn't seem to care and told spoke to my dad saying it was my responsibility because I should not have had it out. Is there any way to track it, find out who has it, or make him reimburse it? It had personal pictures of my family, earphones, 110 songs, a UMD, my WEP code, a 1GB memory stick and schoolwork on it; almost a $300 value. Please help me, I am desperate for answers! Thank you very much.

When Michael Dukakis was running for president he stated he would cap nurse’s salaries (nationally as he did in Mass) to help contain for profit health care costs. Essentially nurse’s salaries did become regulated. Based on years experience and area of the country the salaries are the same at all facilities in each region. Why isn’t this done for CEO and doctor’s salaries and for profit margins of any entity that uses federal funding (any medical facility that receives federal funds and any drugs or products discovered using federal money for research).

Does anyone know how I can remove my name from the voter registration roll? I keep getting jury duty summons and the reason why is because I'm registered to vote and that is how this court randomly select the names. I want to be taken off the registration roll. Please reply if you know how. Thanks.

Seems the same to me, one's better than the other, that's all. But I could always be wrong. I've been wrong before, but hardly ever.

The word soldier refers specifically to US Army personnel, just as Marine refers to USMC personnel. The same is true for sailors and airmen. So then why dont they capitalize soldiers, sailors, airmen? Just curious. Thanks.

...after being elected to stop it? They could, at anytime, block funding for the Iraq blunder. Why haven't they?

Why did they use people to get into office and then not stop the war they spoke so adamantly against while running in 06?

Who was the do-nothing rep who wore his son's combat boots and decried the wasted lives in the war? What has he done since being elected?

I bought a house some months ago and problems keep coming to light that undoubtedly should have been caught in a reasonably conscientious inspection.
Does anyone know if Kentucky law limits the amount of a suit against a house inspector to the cost of the inspection, or can you sue for cost of repairs? I've heard that this "cost of inspection" limitation applies in some states, but can't get a verification for KY.
Thanks.
