Air Force jobs, tend to me more specialized than the civilian counterparts.

If you gain your AP license, then Hydraulics could transfer.

Hydraulics deals with all the hydraulic lines in the aircraft.

Generally hydraulics are what move the control surfaces in the aircraft and lower and raise the landing gear.

Control surfaces mean, flaps and slats and the rudder.

Hydraulics uses hydraulic oil, a very Viscous fluid, meaning it flows easily.

Pneudraulic systems, use air pressure, like the brakes on semi trucks.

Where car brakes use hydraulic systems.

Pneudraulics is the hybrid specialty of dealing with pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Pneumatics are gasses, and hydraulics are liquids. Most high performance civilian aircraft would use some of these, although hydraulics are more common in the civilian world.

The major difference would be the specialization in military-peculiar systems that you would get in the Air Force. Basics of these systems are also taught and that would be where your technical training would best qualify you in the civilian world.

Remember that the Air Force deals with weapon systems and you don't find much work in that outside the military services. However non-weapon systems are also common and those specialties fairly easily translate.

You'll get alot of experience in what ever job you do under AF maintenance & electronics, but if you want to work for an airline or work on commercial airplanes you'll need your A & P license which you'll have to pay for out of your own pocket and attend classes in your free time.
Now regarding hydraulics/pneudraulics: You could try getting a job repairing construction vechiles & equipment or any other heavy industry, they use hydraulics too. These are some options instead of going to work on airplanes
