nuisance? If you are listening to something from another source, this idiotic drivel interrupts your pleasure. And it is moronic to boot.

While I quickly hit the "pause" button on the advert, so I've never actually heard the (what I'm sure is) inane drivel, it is a nuisance.

It's almost as bad as the silhouette of the dancing person on mortgage rate commercials....

SFC_Ollie, I must disagree with you. I'm the kind of person who will choose to buy a competitor's product if you inflict a commercial on me that I hate, so making a bad impression is not better than none at all.

I absolutely HATE this annoying pest of a GAP commercial, these two phonies gabbing like they have anything actually worth listening to!

Who are these morons and why does it have to be on when I listen to music?

I finally traced where the GAP ad is coming from and I programmed my firewall/router to block the url.

Block it in yours as well: http://richmedia.yimg.com/

That will silence it!

It's driving me insane (not that far a trip really) and makes me want to go to the Gap and start yelling the same thing every 10 seconds so they can see how much joy they are bringing to my life.

It is no doubt a dis tractor. which is what an advertiser wants, And posting about it just brings them to mind even more, which is what the advertiser wants....

Any commercial is a great commercial if it is praised or cursed, as long as it brings to mind the product. Remember Apply directly to the forehead?
