Tough to say. I'm thinking maybe McCain or Giuliani? I agree with the conclusion that there is only ONE true republican candidate running (FRED THOMPSON!)... all the rest are annoyingly moderate. Maybe that's why GIuliani is leading in most polls... because he appeals to the moderate-conservative crowd?
America is a nation of moderates run by extremists. I guess the true answer to your question is "it doesn't really matter".

Giuliani for now, but as more of his personal problems and mistakes become nationally known, the tide will shift to McCain. But I still expect Romney to get the nomination
