You could even join the Army if you had 1 felony with a GED.

US Army 15 years

P.S. As long as you qualify mentally and physically as well.

I just joined the Army with a GED. Depending on recruiting goals the other services may make you get 15 college credit hours first.

edit -"Army Strong!" hits the nail on the head. I had a felony waiver (even though it was a misdemeanor charge, charges are looked at differently by the military) and only 13 college credit hours so they seemed kind of hesitant until I scored an 81 on my ASVAB and my urinalysis came back clean, then they couldn't wait to put me in

edit 2: That is not necessarily true what the woman at the bottom said about bonuses. I got $30k. If I did one more year I would have gotten $35k. Bonuses are determined by the AIMS Test (it's a morality test).

AF, CG and Marines: Not without 15 college credits. Navy..your chances are better if you have the credits, but they do take a very small number each year.

Army takes the largest percentage of GED holders per year without college credits. HOWEVER: you do not qualify for as many jobs or bonuses, no matter how well you score, and you must score at least a 50(as opposed to a 35) on the ASVAB
