Huckabee intellectually over-matched??! Please! How do you think a guy that has VERY little money is able to crush a guy like Romney that has millions of dollars to throw away? Whether you like him or not (I do, by the way), you should be able to realize he is intelligent. I despise Hillary, yet I think she's intelligent. Cruel, manipulative, and power-hungry - those descibe her too. But, seriously, no matter what your opinion of Mike, he IS smart. Take a look at www.mikehuckabee.com and see for yourself what he stands for instead of hearing it from somewhere else. It's sad to see all the Huckabee-bashing going around. I urge you to visit his site.
P.S. Sasha, you said Huckabee skirts the issues. I believe you are confusing him with Mitt Romney.

For Huckabee, his mouth is faster than his brain.
Romney talks smart, but I am not sure he is capable. He is the candidate that has spent the most of money raised. He also runs a very negative campaigns against his repub and dem rivals, and that is not the way to be a good leader.

I am with you on this one. Huckabee is far to liberal for this conservative.
He has a 10 year history of raised taxes and reminds me of another Arkansas governor in his politics. His big government agenda makes me wonder why he is running as a Republican.
Didn't he parole a rapist named Wayne Drummond 25 years ahead of his scheduled release date? Didn't this same man then turn around and murder? Carol Sue Shields won't be home for Christmas this year because Mike Huckabee began pushing for Drummands release as soon as he became governor of Arkansas.
I would most certainly vote Romney or Thompson any day before I would even think about Huckabee.
"MERRY CHRISTMAS!"

No.....not really.
The thing that really bothers me though is that every one of our Republican candidates are saying different things as compared to their past records, Huckabee included.
Save for Fred Thompson.
Why oh why can't we find a true CONSERVATIVE candidate?

No, I don't feel Huckabee it intelligent. To many issues that he has skirted by. Plus, my friends that had him for a Governor of Arkansas, say he was just as worse as Clinton. Romney seems to be the best choice as of now.

Once again, another bumper crop of dolts to choose from for our commander and chief. Face it, anyone smart enough to be president doesn't WANT the job ... take Condi Rice for instance -- the lady has TWO doctorate degrees, speaks three languages, is a concert pianist and is well skilled at speaking, negotiating, economics and world views. When asked if she would like to be president her response was, "yes... of the NFL".
What a world we live in....

Yes. He is very much liberal. He made a mistake taking on Rush. He is too much open borders. He is neither a fiscal nor social conservative.

It appears that way, but sometimes appearances can fool you. Therefore, I would want to see the results of an IQ test before I made that determination.
