It's not the first time the Bible God has done it. He's done it and he's ordered his followers to do it as well.

=========

Dr. Park Dietz said Deanna Laney believed God ordered her to kill her children last Mother’s Day weekend. “She struggled over whether to obey God or to selfishly keep her children,” Dietz testified.

Laney, a 39-year-old stay-at-home mother who homeschooled her children, has pleaded innocent by reason of insanity to charges of capital murder and serious injury to a child in the deaths of 8-year-old Joshua and 6-year-old Luke and severe injury to then-14-month-old Aaron.

Dietz said that Laney, who is deeply religious, had a series of delusions on the day of the killings. He said she saw Aaron with a spear, then throwing a rock, then squeezing a frog and believed God was suggesting she should either stab, stone or strangle her children.

All the polls show Obama trouncing the Republican candidates in a general election by much wider margins than Hillary would.

All they seem to see is color when they look at him.

Charities know that aid is being skimmed off the top but say if SOME aid gets through it's better then nothing at all.

I recently heard this as a suggestion from a prominate Psychiatrist.

Let's face it, Reagan would have been suffering from the early stages of alzheimers at some time in his presidency; Clinton from some obsessive compulsive behavior; George W. from some form of alcohol induced mental deficiencies, perhaps.

In many professions or positions containing a high level of stress demands upon the person performing their duties, psychological testing is routine.

Why not for the most important office in the land!

I'm in my early 20's and I keep hearing that there will not be any social security for my generation when we get old.

Why is this?

I'm busting my butt and paying into this and I won't even get anything when I get older. How does that work?!
Hopefully the government can come up with something to help my generation.

Last year there was this mangy looking dog in my front yard. Every time I tried to go out my front door, the dog would growl at me. I called the police. I was told, by the Chief, that they only take care of stray dogs on Thursdays. Since it was Monday, I said "so what should I do, stay home from work until Thursday?" (I bet my boss never heard THAT one before)

He replied "Well no, maybe feed it so it doesn't try to harm you."

Gee, thanks alot. Did you go to officers training to get that logic?

About a year later there is this little Taco Bell type mutt in my yard. I know who owns it but they have a restraining order on me (another unfair story but we'll save that for another time) so I call the police to come and get the ratty thing. The police officer tells me that I will have to catch it because she is allergic to dogs!

And then what should I do with it, besides, of course feed it.

"The manner in which the Americans relate to the intelligence report on Iran is similar to the way in which they viewed those reports they received during the Holocaust on railways transporting hundreds of thousands of Jews to their death at Auschwitz," Minister Yitzhak Cohen of Shas said during a security cabinet meeting Sunday morning on the Iranian nuclear issue.

http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3480595,00.html

First of all, to compare Iran's muscle flexing with the attrocities at Auschwitz is senseless. Secondly, why is this America's problem?

If Israel has a problem with Iran, shouldn't they handle it, since both countries are in the same hemisphere? Why not ask the European Union to help out? Or Russia or China?

Why the US? Don't we already support Israel enough? Otherwise what is the $3 billion in aid per year for? Another Starbucks in Jerusalem?

Anybody else recognize the inherent problem here? THAT is not a god of goodness or benevolence. It is a god of revenge.
And does anything else other than something of pure goodness and benevolence warrant worship?

The Letter

Dear Chairman Conyers

I am writing in support of H. Res. 799, the Articles of Impeachment which were referred to the committee relative to the Impeachment of the Vice President of the United States of America.

Recent reports indicate that the Vice President is attempting to shape the National Intelligence Estimate on Iran to conform to his misperceptions about the threat Iran actually poses. Much like his deceptive efforts in the lead up to the Iraq war, the Vice President appears to be manipulating intelligence to conform to his beliefs.

If the reports are true, they add additional weight to the case for impeachment. I believe impeachment remains the only tool Congress has to prevent a war in Iran. This information relates directly to the Article III charges in the resolution. I urge your timely consideration.

Sincerely,
/s/
Dennis J. Kucinich
Member of Congress

Doesn't it seem to you?...lately more and more people are being killed by guns, like the kid that opened fire at the mall last week and now in Colorado. How can we control this "gun business", who is providing these children these guns?! Who is to blame?! Why have all these shootings done by teenagers that have a history of depression?
Think about it, is antidepressant drugs to blame?
What do you think of this? : http://www.newstarget.com/022330.html (please read!)
