No. It was already a racial issue.

Has Chuck Norris's endorsement of Mike Huckabee turned his candidacy about Texas Rangers? (The show, not the team)?

Someone said it well. I think Oprah's endorsement will create more of a buzz for Obama, but it doesn't necessarily mean that it will turn into votes.

Only in the sense that Oprah Winfrey chose to open a school in south africa rather than the United States. Oprah has lost faith in American children.
Obama belongs to a Black Church in Chicago that is unashamedly black and is focused on the African diaspora.
It's easy to see why Oprah is such a booster of Obama.
I wish she had picked another candidate to endorse, or at least kept her mouth shut.
I'm afraid she may have tainted his candidacy.

Only for those with subzero IQs. When a woman, especially one of Oprah's credentials and high standing, lends an endorsement, the logical belief is that she supports his ideology and his goals for America. Nobody who is familiar with Oprah's work would suggest otherwise as she has been colorblind in championing causes for underpriviledged people for all races.

Actually there was racism bantied about regarding Senator Obama well before Oprah made her opinions known. Some people will not vote for him because of his race no matter if he was endorced by the King of Kings Himself. It has been that way from day one.

Of course. Racism is alive and well in America these days because we can't legislate how people think. When it comes down to the real choices it will most generally be two men who are white. It doesn't matter what people say BEFORE an election; it matters what happens at an election!

I think it has turned it into a circus. I was watching him but as with anything Oprah gets involved in I go in the other direction. Did you see any clips on the news of her speaking? She was speaking in a very deep voice like a kid would in a school play. If she is going to be involved she should be more professional and watch what she says.

Oprah stumping for Obama will hurt more than it helps

It is one thing for her to recommed a book, but no one with a brain will vote for Barak just because Oprah says to do so

i think of you may ought to have your meds re-evaluated. this isn't any longer Obama or his marketing campaign that keeps pointing out the race subject. I have not have been given any concept how your added information relate on your question (or the rest, for that count) What does "he will hire 2 greater splendid courtroom judges who will help abolish it for him" advise? and don't you think of according to risk with a checklist deficit, checklist own loan foreclosure, 8 financial corporation mess united statesthis twelve months, declining wages, disappearing reward, an unheard of redistribution of wealth to the wealthiest between us, a steeply declining dollar and checklist unemployment that substantial differences could be reliable for us?

I dont think so. A three-ring media circus, yes; but a racial issue, no. In the long run, for now, I think he will lose credibility. She should have endorsed him on her show, even dedicated an hour to it if she feels so strongly. But seeing her on the campaign trail made it a celebrity circus.

The minute we had someone of a different skin tone run, it was a race issue. Just because a black woman supports Obama does not make it a race issue. Or do you think that black people can only support other black people and not think for themselves regarding issues?
