Is there any legislation that says when you arrange a return of goods that you bought online, you can keep the product if the company/courier doesn't collect the product within a certain amount of time (or by the date they said they would)?

I sometimes really think my lawyer isnt fighitng for my best interest. For example I have a accident case againts another driver that was at fault. I feel like I deserve much more then what the other insurance is supposibly offering me. I sometimes feel like the lawyer that represents you is out for his own money .... For example my lawyer might have made a side settlement with the other insurance company instead of me recieving a big chunk he would offer something small and keep a bigger commision for himself... Is this the way it usually is with lawyers? Or am I just making this stuff up because it seems like 99% of lawyers are crooks.

So many kids who cant read..cant add or subtract, in many schools they are allowing calculators to be used instead of learning how to do it..it seems to me that were creating a bunmch of ignoramous's...why??..political agenda?..make our kids stupid so theyll do whatever we tell them to do in 20 years?? any ideas?

I'm an Army mom and wife. My son is in Iraq and my husband is soon to join him. The predeployment issues are driving me crazy! HE is driving me crazy! I know of the Red Cross web sites and other "resources" out there. This ain't my first rodeo, so to speak. What I need is someone who has dealt with this to advise. My FRG is pretty far away and not readily available. Please advise on dealing with the insecurities of your soldier and where to draw the line on issues such as time with him (while he is still here). He is able to come home on some weekends and demands I drop everything, including my responsibilities with our 2 year old son. And I do, with the exception of my son. When I am unable to find a sitter or have to attend to the baby, he is withdrawn and says I don't care about him. If I release my frustration and try to talk to him about situations I'm struggling with, he says I don't want to be here. If I don't discuss these things, he says I'm being pretentious. Please HELP!

Honestly, don't people see that a catholic or lutheran is just as crazy as a mormon or muslim? Why does the majority of people judge others by who's imaginary friend is better?
