Is there any legislation that says when you arrange a return of goods that you bought online, you can keep the product if the company/courier doesn't collect the product within a certain amount of time (or by the date they said they would)?

The company arranged the return and said their courier would pick it up, but they haven't. I don't have a returns address, they didn't give me one.

When you buy on-line, did you read the terms and conditions of the sale? That usually spells it out, and sadly, most people do not read them. Call the Site again. Talk to them about getting the pickup. Mean time, dispute any charge on you charge account. (If you used an electronic check or ATM card, learn from this never to do that again.)
There is no legislation that gives you the ownership rights if they do not pick it up. There is legislation that if sent something you did not agree to receiving you can act as if it is a gift. (In the 50's and 60's companies would send out product and tell you that if you did not return it in x number of days you had to pay for it.)
Good luck

go back on the site to find return address, it is your responsibility to return goods.

Nope. Just like there is no law that says they have to accept a return.

If you keep it and it is not yours, it is mail fraud or theft - your call.

No. Normally you are responsible for shipping the item back. They do not normally stop by your house to pick it up.
