I guess the same could be asked of Republicans. If most believe in intelligent design why not let that process select a candidate?
Is it because none of the Republicans can meet the expectations?

I'm not sure how natural selection would pertain to candidates. They aren't running in an effort to procreate. And reproduction is an essential component to Natural Selection. Plus, many people also accept genetic flow and gene drift in addition to natural selection.

This is because Democrats and liberals by nature are hypocritical. Its almost as if its a biological fact hardwired into their brains. For example; in terms of tolerance. "Oh yes, we have to try and UNDERSTAND the terrorists, not fight them. If we tolerate and love them, they will stop trying to kill us." But of course, if someone disagrees with them... "Hey, these guys just keep trying to kill us, talking isn't working, maybe we should fight back..." "WHAT?! YOU FACIST NEO-CON!! HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY THINK THAT FIGHTING TERRORISTS IS A GOOD THING?! I'M GOING TO SUE YOU, AND THE ACLU IS GONNA HELP ME!"
Basically, summed up; they tolerate who they feel like, and are rabidly intolerant of anyone who disagrees with them.
The fact is, they oppose natural selection for their candidates, because they don't really care about natural selection. They just want what they want and will find any way to get it. Its called living for instant gratification, its what happens to you when you don't believe in G-d. Lol.
