Seriously, what do you liberals have against Santa Clause?

2007-12-10 05:53:33 · 8 answers · asked by Anonymous in Politics & Government Politics

David, sorry, but you're wrong again.

The 1st amendment was a case of the government establishing religion as one of the most important rights, so important that it was at the top of the list in the bill of rights, and it was the single most important inspirations that lead to the creation of America to begin with.

So where do liberals find the right to fight against a single, specific religion? What, you didn't think that we would notice that you fight for terrorists to have the rights to lawyers and due process, but Christians can't celebrate a holiday?

There will come a time when liberals are hated so much that we will see an epidemic of mental collapse, especially among aging hippies. Get out while you can for your own good.

Nancy the Nut will do what it takes to get elected. Even if it means going on a Christmas hunt and burning the believers at the stake.

Seasons Beatings. They are all on my naughty list. Seriously they should leave the war of Christmas to professionals. I'll be shooting some rocket fired bicycles at them this Christmas.

Nancy might try to protect Kwanza, Ramadan, or the MTV Condom Bash, but Christmas has to do with Christians and is therefore not protectable because it might offend some atheist voter.

Nothing, what do Conservatives have against the truth?
But Santa is to the Republicans the same as the WMDs were to Bush. A hope and a dream of a made up tale.

because we just cant have anybody feel badly. you know the word christmas could exclude some poor athiest on non christian. i think that we should probably get rid of all religious holidays to make everybody feel good about themselves. screw the founding fathers. they had no idea what they were talking about. Merry Christmas. oh yeah, sorry that probably hurt somebody's feelings.

It is not a discussion that the government should even be involved in. Protecting a Christian religious observance would establish the Christian religions.
