Is this just yet another example of the far Left-wing media bias?

Life just ain't fair. I have no problem with Romney's religion at all. I have known several Mormons and, while I don't share their beliefs, I have found them to be very honest, God fearing peole who are very patriotic and want to serve the country in whatever way they can. No matter how you slice it, I'd rather have a Mormon in the White House than Obama or The Hildabeast.

You asked if this was an example of Left wing media bias. Well, I don't know about you but there is no doubt in my mind that is exactly what it is.

The media has raised those questions about Hillary and Obama. They even do reports on it! Romney's religion is an issue to the evangelical right who view Mormonism as a cult. The problem is not the media, is the attitude of the GOP base.

You have to look at the big picture, and not as if someone is out to control you....paranoid much?!?

Look, Romney is Mormon. That's VERY religious. There are many people that feel that if elected, he will use his religious principles to control/rule the country. That simply is unconstitutional. He must show an unbiased stance on all issues, and make decisions not for the best interest of his religious agenda (if he in fact has one) but what is in the best interest of the mass public. This will indeed conflict with his deep seeded religious views. He can be viewed as a threat.

Being a woman, and being a man of African decent, is not a threat...unless you are a misogynistic racist bigot.

Religion in and of itself is no issue. It's what people choose to do with it that makes you unelectable.

Being a Mormon wouldn't be an issue for me if it weren't for the fact that they, like many other Christian zealot groups, want to make things difficult for the other people that do not adhere to the same belief structure they do.

Since Romney is a believer in being a Mormon, he's on that list. Being a strong believer in family has nothing to do with your moral beliefs. Believing in abortions or not has nothing to do with your moral beliefs, either, but most Christians would have you believe that it did.

There is no left-wing media bias anymore than there is a right bias. Well, exclude Rush Limbaugh or Fox News. We know those are biased hard and to the right.

Without question, and whether anyone admits it, Romney's religion, Hillary's gender, and Obama's race most certainly are "electability" issues. Absolutely.

Gender and race have been discussed. Is he black enough? What if she cries? What if she doesn't cry?

Investigation of one's tenets of religious belief is a valid pursuit before I determine my vote. It's just Romney's turn in the hot box.

By the way, did you see a question this morning about what sort of Bible Obama would use for a swearing-in? It's not like this is one-sided.

Stupidity and obfuscation comes from both sides.

Media bias isn't the issue.

Short attention span, as demonstrated by the question itself, might be.

You are wrong. Hillary's gender and Obama's race have been widely discussed.

The thing is that Romney's own party has an established platform of making religion an issue.

Clinton's/Obama's party does not.

The Republican party would do well to drop their narrow definition of "acceptable" religion (witness what happened in the last Presidentail election around gay marriage and other issues).

I think it's about the misconceptions about the LDS church. People STILL think they have plural marriages, which is 100% ffalse. When Joy Baher stated on the "view" that a tv show, "big love" explained it all to her, I wanted to slap her through the tv! The tv show tells of Mormons LEAVING the church to have plural marriages. Also they are said to have their own Bible-NOT TRUE. The book of Mormon is just another testament of Jesus, a companion TO the Bible. NO he should not have to explain his religion to anyone. Why doesn't barak obama have to explain his growing up a muslim?! Separation of Church & State should remain intact during campainging.

JFK had the same problem and he won. Romney's speech on the subject was wonderful.
According to the US constitution, gender, race or faith cannot deny one from being President.

No. it's just that religion influences the choices you make as president, race and gender (should) not.
Still, if voters like him it (should) mean that they have taken his religion into account and it should not be an electability issue (although it would be fair to make it clear)
I'm not american, so i have no idea who that fellow is, but that's what i can say from the outside (which would make my opinion a very objective one)
