I have always found it amazing that global warming cultist will point to a single event (Like Katrina) to say its proof of Global warming, yet deny that a single event such as your point disproves it. A paradox?

Note, the name, GLOBAL WARMING. It is not, mid western American warming. And, as has been well documented, temperature can be more extreme in most models depicting global warming increases, more extreme in warmth, and, in coolness.
Using your logic, using gravity for example, under no circumstances could matter leave the earth, else, gravity is proven wrong, which, of course, is not true.
Read about global warming, a book or two, to educate yourself and your family. It is a fascinating subject.
