So Mitt Romney has the endorsement of Bob Jones, from the beloved Bob Jones University.

How exciting! Curiously, has anyone from the Romney camp stated an opinion on how Bob Jones University banned interracial dating from their inception until the year 2000?

http://archives.cnn.com/2000/US/03/04/bo...

Of course, not tolerating those "trouble makers" hasn't been too much of a worry for Romney in the past. The doctrine he holds so close to his heart gives him the courage to do so.

http://dwindlinginunbelief.blogspot.com/...

1. Why is nobody asking him this directly? Not "do you read the bible?" or "Do you like the bible and puppies sir?", but "Are you pimping for the support of an avowed racist and supporting racist doctrine?"

2. Are you allowed cover for any belief by just stating that "It's my religion?".

3. Why are ANY religious organizations that dabble in politics allowed tax exempt statues? I know in theory they are not, but that seems rather dubious.

that the un-named loser who killed the students at Virginia Tech was actually a victim, nay, a poor troubled soul with mental issues... And the poor 17-year old un-named loser who accidentaly killed Sean Taylor was, again, a victim because he didn't mean to kill anyone, he just wanted to rob him. It is odd that the 19- year old loser who shot up the mall yesterday is actually a punk with no job and no girlfriend and no future and everyone saw this coming? Why is it that a white murderer is a real criminal but a minority criminal is a victim of the system (and yes this includes the Jena Six defendant who was arrested about six times before he got arrested for possesion.)

My husband extended for the next deployment and they're supposed to give a bonus in lump sum. (Assignment Incentive Pay to Extend Enlistment for Deployments). He signed the papers over three weeks ago, and it was approved over a week or so ago. Does anyone know how long it takes? (He's upset it hasn't come in yet)
Thanks in advance for the help :)

Isreal is supposedly working on a peace deal with Abbas and Bush to establish a Palistinian state, yet Olmert authorized the building of over 300 Israeli settlements in East Jerusilum. Perhaps, you should take note of the following article, www.svsu.edu/clubs/vanguard/stories/628, and decide if the United States should continue monetary aid to Isreal.

after all if you are sure your god is better than Mitt's and you are decidedly voting for a candidate who is al about religion.

then isn't your objective to vote the "holiest" candidate?

so really you are NOT for separation of church and state. but rather the church and state as one. therefore you want he government to interfere with your religion.

great. when public opinion changes over time and muslims are the popular-trendy religion then you wil have them call the shots for your church-state.

now you see why separation of church and state is critical,

but go ahead. vote your faith over politics.

it's funny. being a candidate these days means how religious you are. or are you more religious than the other guy.
or even better- are you the right kind of religion. are you a mormon, a baptist, a muslim?

what a crock

He found it outside. It had my name on it. He then called me into is office and confronted me about things he read in my PERSONAL email, text messages, and Call histroy. Basically, he went through Everything. He took several things he read out of context and is not punishing me but voiced concerns about some things he read. Now things are uncomfortable. Did he go too far? Not to mention, he held on to it for 4 days w/o telling me he had it... By the way, It was Locked when you remove the battery and reinstall it, it bypasses the security password requirement. Im not litigious, but need ammo when I discuss with him my feeling of exceeding my personal privacy... (Want to scare him so he wont do it again..)

I don't have cable so I'm sure that the mall massacre story is being trumpeted by the mainstream media instead of the greatest story of the year which is no Iran nukes so no need for WWII.

I have a question for you boys in blue. I grew up with guns. I've hunted and shot in tournaments since I was a kid. I spent 6 years in the army and was a member of the marksmanship team. I have no criminal record whatsoever. I go to church and I pay my taxes. I have completed the concealed carry traing and have a permit. What would you say if I had been at the mall in Omaha and carrying my weapon? Are officers opposed to concealed carry? I have no doubt that I have the training and ability to stop a crazed gunman. Not only that, but do I have the right to protect my life and family from these lunatics?

OK, I know the media has been blamed for a lot lately, but don't blow me off until you read this.

What do the VT shooter and the Omaha mall shooter have in common (besides both shooting at places that don't allow guns for protection)?

They both wanted media attention, and they both got it. The VT shooter send a video diary to the media, knowing they would play it and knowing it would get him famous. This Omaha mall guy left a suicide note, happy that he would no be famous.
http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/12/06/mall.shooting/index.html

Can we (partly) blame the media for glorifying such acts? Would these people have at least thought twice about their actions, knowing that the tragedy would be no more than a 20 second blurb on the national news?

The secret is out now. All you have to do is kill a lot of people, and you'll be held in infamy forever.

If I was a family of a victim, I would sue the major media outlets. You probably won't win, but it would make them think about their actions.

If you plug "Michael D Huckabee" into a Gematria calculator (the technique used to calculate the number of the beast from a name), it adds up to 666. If you don't believe it, try it for yourself:

...also, this question keeps getting deleted, even though it's a legitimate question that does not violate the community standards in any way. Is that further proof that I've stumbled across the truth?
