So OK, they're not crazy? Only a fool or partisan would contend that Iran is now a responsible and stabilizing influence in the world. If you're only going to believe what you want to hear, it doesn't really matter what anyone says. That is the corner you have painted yourself into.
Maybe Iran stopped making nukes because they have already constructed all they need? How do we know where their facilities are? What is the methodology upon which these conclusions are based? How to you weigh the threat of potential capacity as opposed to only looking at the actual? Given the Intelligence Department's dismal track record on Iran to date, I don't see how anyone could honestly trust their assessment of the situation now. Like they say, "It's all fun and games until somebody puts an eye out."

Hey smartypants WW2 was fought some 60 years ago, your right there is no reason to fight it now. The mall shooting isn't a distraction, but a terrible event caused by an evil man. Most of us can hold two thoughts at once. The world doesn't revolve around the childish attempts of the left to bring down Bush

The mall shootings was a tragedy make no mistake about that.
Bush is determined to start a war with Iran whether they had nukes or not.
Same as he did with Iran... remember WMD's?
He and his friends get rich from war, very, very , very rich. That is really what war has always been about from the beginning of time. Profiteering. Which incidentally is apparently no longer against the law.

I haven't even been following the mall story. But the Iran issue. Bush is such a tool. With Iraq he screwed up, now he's going to do it all over again. This guy has a real big ego issue. He wants to control everything. The intelligence says no, but he doesn't believe it. What's that saying about our country when our president says "hmmm. . . I hear you but I don't believe you. I think I'll just do what I want anyway." What's the point of intelligence if we don't use it?

Yep, that's what it is. A distraction by the right wing media to take focus form a report showing Iran stopped their development of nuclear weapons in 2003
I would call Comcast. All that silence of having no TV and being shut off from the real world is making you insane...

An ACCEPTABLE distraction??? Absolutely not. All it shows us is that FANATICAL idiots live everywhere, not just middle eastern nations. Not only is it not acceptable, but people in communities need to start being aware of their surroundings and the changes that occur in them. I'm sure the people of Nebraska were all "shocked" by the incident, but I guarantee there was at least one person who saw the red flag go up on that yayhoo.
And don't even get me started on Iran. I'm sure they, too, were all up in arms when WE developed nuclear weapons.

The no-nuke Iran news would be the top story if it involved Bill Clinton. Afterall, his "lie" about his sex life dominated everything. So what if W almost started another idiotic war. It must have really galled him to have to admit that Iran was not capable of Nukes. God he wanted it to be so... but even he could not pull off this one. Too many people knew. He tried to hide it, but only told the truth when he realized he could not deceive his way thru this one. So sorry George. Maybe you can bomb Venezuela!! Would that perk ya up some?

The mall has got nothing to do with ghostly stories of the past.

You are correct.
The Iran story is much bigger, with global ramifications. Iran has said it is "Iran's biggest victory in 100 years."
That's pretty big.
But the Iran story has faded already because John Q. Public prefers titillation to staying abreast of world news.

I wouldn't be surprised. Personally I don't think it's any of our business that Iran has nukes. We have them don't we?
