that the un-named loser who killed the students at Virginia Tech was actually a victim, nay, a poor troubled soul with mental issues... And the poor 17-year old un-named loser who accidentaly killed Sean Taylor was, again, a victim because he didn't mean to kill anyone, he just wanted to rob him. It is odd that the 19- year old loser who shot up the mall yesterday is actually a punk with no job and no girlfriend and no future and everyone saw this coming? Why is it that a white murderer is a real criminal but a minority criminal is a victim of the system (and yes this includes the Jena Six defendant who was arrested about six times before he got arrested for possesion.)

I almost forgot, I also heard it was Sean taylors fault he got killed because a relative was dating the uncle of the murderer and Sean should have screened his family and friends better... the madness doesnt end. I wonder which side Jesse and Al will take on this - hate crime?

I don't think it's so much a color thing as a Rough Life defense.

"Oh, poor me...I was abused at home, show me mercy for my crime."
"Oh, poor me...really, I AM poor...show me mercy"

I've seen it played out by all races, and it's a crock. Many people have rough lives and don't shoot up a college.

Are you joking!?!? Why don't you go ahead and tell Sean Taylor's family that it was his fault he got shot. Um... I think it's so and so's fault they got killed because his sister's husband's best friend's cousin's dog's owner knew the mailman that did the mail route 2 blocks away from where the murderer's mom's uncles limo driver lived.

um, while i see what you are saying, i don't hear the 'victim' theory being applied in any of those cases. maybe it's just me because i don't have cnn or watch much main stream news. i read most of the news off the inet.

i would also suggest that the deal in jenna is entirely different from the other incidents.

any how, i see your point but don't have the same perception of how these various murderers are represented in the media.

i don't recognize every person who's of African American/interior sight American ancestry, yet i recognize many African individuals, and those i recognize comprise overwhelmingly non secular; in fact, none of my friends is the two agnostic or atheistic, and because i'm agnostic myself, i could likely have pronounced my agnosticism had I met a like-thinking individual the place I labored -- i became into the only nonAfrican American on the staff there. besides, if I have been African American, i could think of that God had exceeded over or disdained my long-suffering, maltreated, and tortured antecedants, for that reason be extra prone in the direction of nontheism, yet that only isn't the case with the African individuals whom I even have common.

Interesting thought. Kinda like only whites can commit a hate crime.
