Isreal is supposedly working on a peace deal with Abbas and Bush to establish a Palistinian state, yet Olmert authorized the building of over 300 Israeli settlements in East Jerusilum. Perhaps, you should take note of the following article, www.svsu.edu/clubs/vanguard/stories/628, and decide if the United States should continue monetary aid to Isreal.

The United States should stop foreign aid to all countries. Period.

And as a counter point to your complaint, the US gave 25 million to the Palestinians two years ago for gardening around their new headquarters in Israel. What's with that?

We should provide humanitarian add around the world as events require, things such as earthquakes, floods, major storms, famines and such, but nothing else.

The world looks at us like a bottomless piggy bank that they don't have to pay back, and I for one am sick of it.

We work hard, build a viable dynamic economy and then our government gives it all away. Why?

Let other countries follow our lead and build their own economies that help themselves. We now have what amounts to international welfare and not only we, but recipient countries should all be embarrassed.

300 settlements in East Jerusalem? Where would they put them all?
(For the record, Jerusalem is a city, not a country.)
Maybe if you would like us to take you seriously, perhaps you could link to a legitimate news source that can be expected to report news accurately (at least some of the time)?

And also, even if it were true, I don't see what the big deal is. Jewish settlements are not a threat to peace.

Since 1973, Israel has cost the United States about $1.6 trillion. If divided by today's population, that is more than $5,700 per person. This is more than twice the cost of the Vietnam War.

What about other nations? Why only Israel? I think we should cut monetary to aid to many, many countries until we are out of debt.

It makes no fiscal or logical sense ot give money away when you are trillions in debt.

Aye, we live in symbiosis with Israel, they are our brethren and we must help them through there struggles as they will continue to help us. Even if indirectly, they contribute a healthy portion of our overseas bases.

NO, NO, NO, NO. Any people that does not believe in CHRIST as the savior should not get aid from a Nation based on Christian beliefs.

Lebanon voted a known terrorist group into their government and we give them billions upon billions. Why do some people only want isolation for Israel?
