Please read my scenario here, and then respond to the question above. This is the background for it. I wrote it, and it's on a NON-commercial site.

Returning here from it is EASY. If the Back button doesn't seem to do it with a single click, just click *rapidly* on it, and you'll come right back. (I have no control over that function, but that's how to do it.)

FBI has more than doubled the number of people nationwide who are prohibited from buying guns because of mental health problems.

Okay - let’s think about this for a second.

If these people cannot be trusted with a firearm - then, why are they out walking around? Surely it follows they should not be allowed in public.

Further, they have undoubtedly had their names stricken from voter rolls, yes? For this is a much more dangerous activity.

And, nobody at the DOT is going to let them drive a car, obviously.

..the Second Amendment is neither relevant nor useful. Rather, it has become an impediment to vital public policy, and it should be repealed and replaced with nuanced federal legislation.

In the context of today’s society, the Second Amendment is outdated. Constitutional debates over its interpretation stand in the way of the implementation of pressing public policy.

The bonds are in my name, my name is the ONLY name on the bond. They were purchased for me by my deceased father and they are for $3500. She took them and put them in her safe deposit box. What should i do? She hasn't supported me in almost a year and I'm about to have a baby and I could really use the money.

We all have our partsian political views, and a lot of answers on Yahoo and in debate and the media in general are based on simpistic biases and stupidity, and I would like to get above that. I have my own views, but I am curious on what general perception and thought are.

What specific policies that the Democrats or Republicans are advocating do you think would help the economy? Please explain why and how such policies would improve the economy. No "Bush is dumb" or "Dems are Commies" answers please.
