The president of the United States takes an oath of office "To protect and defend the Constitution".

Now, to all Ron Paul haters, can you give me 1 single example of how Ron Paul has ever in his 10 terms of congress violated the constitution?

I bet you won't find one single time.

You should vote for him.

If Hillary or Edwards win the democratic nomination, I am going to need a strong Republican candidate option when I vote against these democrats. I won't be making my decision solely on what I read here, but I would like to see what perspective other people have.

PLEASE keep the Church of Pope Ron Paul spam out of this question; I am only interested in serious answers. Anyone advocating a Ron Paul vote in their answer will be reported as spam immediately. Thank you.

I don't understand why these otherwise excellent handguns come with magazine disconnect safeties. For me it makes me not want to purchase the firearm because you can't fire a round in the chamber if you have to when doing a tactical reload.

Examples: the Walter P99 & FN Five-seveN

The argument that the gun will not function if it is taken away from you does not make any sense to me at all.
If I wanted the gun not to fire without the magazine, I would fire one shot to empty the round in the chamber. If someone is attempting to take the firearm away from me at that moment, they would either get shot, the slide would bite their hand, or I might get shot myself.

But that wouldn't really matter, because if someone is capable of overpowering you and taking your firearm away, they will either pick up the magazine or they will be able to hit you on the head with the gun and then take away the magazine anyways.

Also, is it possible to disable these magazine disconnect safeties? And

Hi, I am a sophmore in high school, and I want to know how I could start a Republican's club at my high school. Membership will not be an issue- most students are Republican. And we have club time almost every week, will clubs from the gardening club to guitar club to Jr. Civitans, so clubs are in! But I just don't know how to get started. I think I should get a teacher sponsor first? And is there any Republican organization I could contact to get some ideas? What would you do? (And no answers saying that I should start a Democrats club, please!!)

Oh, I know this is a lot, but I have another similar question. Since this a Republican club, it will probably attract a LOT of Christians. I am not one, but i don't mind them.. But how can I keep conversations from being completely centered around religion? I want the main focus to be on politics. Thank you!!
