If Hillary or Edwards win the democratic nomination, I am going to need a strong Republican candidate option when I vote against these democrats. I won't be making my decision solely on what I read here, but I would like to see what perspective other people have.

PLEASE keep the Church of Pope Ron Paul spam out of this question; I am only interested in serious answers. Anyone advocating a Ron Paul vote in their answer will be reported as spam immediately. Thank you.

I have 2 choices right now, both conservative. The first is Fred Thompson. Being from Tennessee, and voting for Fred twice for U.S. Senate, I am familiar with his record, and am comfortable voting for him. Contrary to what any other candidate may say, Fred Thompson is the truest conservative running.
Should a problem arise, and I have to choose another candidate, the Mike Huckabee will probably get my vote. Even though I don't know his stand on ever issue, I do know that most Baptist ministers are not liberal minded.

Well, to answer your question, i am supporting Ron Paul for many reasons. He defends and obeys our Constitution. He advocates a strong national defense by protecting our borders, bring ALL troops home from the 130 bases around the world, and to me, he sounds like the only serious candidate out there. But I hope this doesn't get counted as spam, as I've said, im being serious of my candidate. Thank you.

Well im not registered with either party but ive watched the debates. In the most recent republican debate, my observation was that McCain looked really pathetic, Romney was really evasive, I liked many of the things Thompson had to say as economically he stated some great ideas but then said that the abortion issue should be our number one focus ( why? it doesnt effect everyone like many other issues ).

I am would support the person whos priorities are on issues that effect everyone the most, the person who can articulate those ideas and who doesnt seem like they are evasive in situations.

The biggest issue is the one that effects the most people and thats the immigration issue as its effect on economy, crime education, healthcare and other areas is far reaching.

I thought it was very telling in the most recent debate when Huckabee said he wanted to put more money into space exploration and Tancredo said hey, we have just got done talking about the failing economics and now you want to spend money on something we just cannot afford right now.
examples like that really give you an insight.

Ron Paul has some very good idea, when he can articulate them, he stammered alot.
Giuliani had some good ideas as well. He sure took some flak about New York and the sanctuary city issue though so I dunno.

Well, I have felt all along that I prefer Huckabee because of his values. Then I took one of those test that compared my opinions with the candidates and mine match up the most with McCain. I think I would still vote for Huckabee, but I'm not positive.

To me Ron Paul is a raving lunatic and Romney is a liar. Thompson is too nervous. I like Duncan, but he doesn't have enough support to be a serious candidate. I have a conceal carry permit, so I don't trust Guilianni....

I'm voting for Ron Paul. I am serious and I've donated all I can. I like his views on the constitution.

This isn't spam, Ron Paul is in the Republican Party and is out raising every other candidate this quarter.

Wow, you completely disqualify a popular candidate because he is.....popular?

What about people who are actually voting for Ron Paul? Why isn't that a serious answer? Is it because Ron Paul is the most conservative of the candidates? Is it because he receives more donations from military and average Americans than any other candidate?

Well, at least you let your bias be known.

I'm not Spam... but I think you can Get F*cked for telling me my opinion doesn't count. ... do you have any opinions of your own, or do you need to ask Y!A to get the answers of the "general feeling" so you can base your opinion off of that?

Ron Paul is a great American Hero... you're not going to stop us from reporting him, because we've know the truth.

The Media claims he has NO support, and it's just a bunch of people on the internet.... .... .... they were KINDA right...

we ARE a bunch of people, only if you look around, we're ALL over the place... just look at some of his Rallies.

Look at all the money we've raised for him... AVERAGE people mind you. You're not going to shut us up just because corporate media refuses to admit we exist!!

Myself I like Guilani.... I think he's the right man for the job. I really haven't waivered at all... I liked him from the start.

As far as your spam ban.... I would rethink that, if I truely wanted Ron Paul to lead the republicans, and you reported me as spam... I would see that you were banned from this site, and the more I think about it... I think I will.... Freedom of Speech!

Ron Paul

Because if you look at the actions of Giuliani and Clinton, you will find them to be the same.
