In my particular region, police are famous for being arrogant and talking down to you. I guess they assume there is never payback. I happen to be in a profession where I am paid for jury service, and consequently I serve on a jury pretty much every year. For reasons that are not clear, most of the time I serve in a criminal case. And if the only evidence is the word of a cop, I vote not guilty. More then once, the jury is polled, and I am the only person to say not guilty. But I think 99% of the general public will just go along because they are programmed. I have an advanced degree and have never broken the law (except for traffic violations) in my life. If they want to change, then I will

By the way whenever you criticize the police, someone with an IQ of a bullfrog will say "Well, if you don't like police, don't call 911." That's a deal. Refund my money for police services, and stay out of my hair when I shoot the burglar.

Gasoline, diesel, and even biofuels can carry a per gallon federal tax. Federal tax on fuel exceeds oil company profits on fuel. Revenue from fuel tax is a major source of income for the treasury.
Federal money is being spent to develop biofuels rather than hydrogen fuel cells, a cleaner form of energy. Our we losing out on better source of energy because it can't raise the same amount of tax revenue as crude oil?

I know a lot of people seem to hate this guy and call him a liar, but yet I don't think I have ever heard what was it that was in that movie that was the bold face lie(s) he was supposed to have uttered.

I watched the film and it all seemed factual to me. It just seemed to mostly be a lot of behind the scene stuff that most americans did not know about because they were not reported greatly by the mainstream media. To me it looks like he is hated for simply telling what really really happened and really was going on. Why would americans hate a fellow citizen for speaking the truth about what is going in their government and on top of that call him a liar?

we were talking about communism in my political science class, and that it would be great if you could actually get to true communism and not the crap, that happen in the soviet union, china, and cuba. with true communism there would be no need for a government.

do not say anything about china, cuba or soviet union just talk about communism and why no one can ever reach true communism

I believe in the United States of America as a government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a Republic; a sovereign Nation of many sovereign States; a perfect Union, one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.

I therefore believe it is my duty to my Country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws; to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

I've seen 'six shooters' fire accurately very fast.
Like in this video for example:
http://www.break.com/index/fastest_gun_in_the_west.html

Just wondering what people that have tried both have to say.

Another thing I've always wondered about is if with enough practice it is possible to fire a full automatic glock with the same accuracy as the six shooter does in this video.

As black people commit 70% of gun and street crime isn't it time we made them pay extra tax to help pay for the police? Likewise Polish people and East Europeans control large parts of the illegal prostitute and sex industry, they should pay loads of extra tax as well.
We could have a black tax (like a green tax) and another Pole tax?

" Lawmakers on Beacon Hill are set to consider a proposed ban on spanking children in the commonwealth. " I just read in the newspaper.

The problem is the current law does not say or guide about what’s prohibited and what’s not!
So people that violate are findind holes in this law and does who just want to give a few "slaps" are being punished.

Now we have " brats" yelling at grocery stores and cursing parents. I dont have any kids but I feel like telling them: Make whatever needs to make this kid quiet!!!!

Other situation was a friend of mine has a 15 year old that told her mother that she would call the cops or tell the school that she was being " spanked" if she couldnt get what she wanted..

How far we are going with this?
