The United States is preparing to upset the elections in Venezuela and kill Hugo Chavez!

I think all the answers so far miss the point that Venezuela is leading the way in getting out of the grip of American intervention with their greedy corporations! I hope Chavez pulls it off, he is a great leader! Think again or no one wins.

Did you forget that Bush rigged his election and discredited black people from voting? If anyone rigs the election it will be America. Do some reading for God's sake will you!

And we haven't tried to kill Castro since the Bay of Pigs, at least not officially. I think we'll let the Venezuelan people take care of Chavez.

This is very bad! This would make Venezuela a dictatorship and plus Hugo Chavez is a bad person. Hugo has threatened to stop supplying US with oil if we intervene and we get 14% of our oil from Venezuela.

It's amazing to me that people are actually voting on deliberately making a country a socialist dictatorship, this has to be a sign of the beginning of the end. This just shows what can be accomplished by effectively manipulating and generally playing the media and noodle headed people for all they're worth.

Why is there elections, they're rigged anyway! Do you think somebody that wants to rule for life and has the means to do it, is gonna let some stupid elections get in his way? I doubt very seriously that people would intentionally elect a dictator.
