Right ON brother! There are only really 2 ways to fix US Govt and get it back to the way the founding fathers wanted it.

TERM LIMITS and/or a TRUE DIRECT Democracy like ancient Athens had. Both would practically eliminate special interests groups/Lobbyists.

Before you can ask a question or make a statement, you need to get your terminology straight. Democracy is mob rule, and it does not protect minorities. Our form of government is intended to be a constitutional republic with protections for the minorities against the will of the majority. Elements of fascism have been increasingly evident in the US, but we do not yet have a fascist government. A fascist government is not a representative government, but enforces to will of a minority upon the majority, and is therefore a form of dictatorship.

Depends.Even a democracy can become corrupt.Other democracies fell from within.Once moral standards are replaced with "right and wrong is in the eye of the beholder" , and the family unit is destroyed, the destruction of that country is the next thing.
We just need a good 3rd party.Either system WILL work IF the majority citizens are good GOD fearing people who have good GOD fearing leaders, which right now we have neither.

Would you call the U.S. a Fascist government if a Democrat was in the white house? No matter how we elect our representatives they can still be corrupt either before they are elected or after they take office. I agree with term limits but the people who can vote for term limits are the politicians in D.C. and they are not going to vote themselves out of a job.

No way, we vote for people who'll protect us from the ignorant majority, not for people who believe what we believe. I expect my government officials to be smarter and wiser than me and to make decisions that are best for everyone, not just special interests or large groups that would seek to take control. Checks and balances are what I want. The status quo only changes when everyone agrees with the irrefutable reasoning.

Democracy, if used and handled properly is the only way. Our present government is subjecting us to more of a dictatorship at the moment. This evil regime must be voted out and fast !
