I believe you are a member of the instant gratification generation. You look at the here and now and not what could be in the future if we did not fight this War.

It does not matter why or how we entered the war. What does matter is that we did. As a nation we need to finish what we started. If we pulled out the troops now it will make it worse than it was before. Right now Americans are a joke to the rest of the world and our money is deprecating in value. One reason is that we are so up in arms about everything and we do not finish what we start. Yes it sucks that we were lied to at the start of the war. Yes it sucks that military families can be separated up to fifteen months if you do not count the prep and down time before and after a deployment. We are spending a ton of money on a cause we can not see the end to. However, we started this war and we need to help these people find an end to it.

First of all this war is totally pointless! So there is no reason we should be wasting 1 trillion dollars on it! I wouldn't suggest giving each person $3240 rather put the 1 trillion dollars to something useful... Like a better healthcare system. It's sad how low America ranks on that list =[

What price do you put on freedom? Because what you are actually talking about is the chance for 25 million Iraqis to have freedom.

Now which is better?

Big deal, that is 1/10th of a car, 1 big screen TV. We have gained so much more for that money.
