Please read my scenario here, and then respond to the question above. This is the background for it. I wrote it, and it's on a NON-commercial site.

Returning here from it is EASY. If the Back button doesn't seem to do it with a single click, just click *rapidly* on it, and you'll come right back. (I have no control over that function, but that's how to do it.)

To "rabble rouser" -- I sincerely hope you're right about its being avoidbale. As for returning -- the key word above is **rapidly.** I like the layout that Blogger (a division of Google) provides, but I wish they'd get that darned glitch ironed out!

To "MP US Army" -- If the scenario described materializes, it'll be HUGELY important to to up to half million women trapped in slave states who'd have to waste money and time to travel to free ones. Especially for the poorer ones, and the teens. Think of THEM... not just yourself.

To "revo2814" -- Your scenario is interesting, but a bit extreme. I think mine is better documented within the article, while yours is totally speculative. I'll vote for Hillary. Starting with the Caucuses in my state -- Iowa.

To "sociald" -- THANKS for the great solution to returning here from my blogs!
READERS -- As he said... right-click on the link & open in new window. After reading article, simply close window. NO "Back" button aggravation!

ahhh interesting topic, I do see that happening and I do agree that its a states right issue like some republicans do, I don't believe the Gov't should do a federal ban on it though. But very interesting how that type free & slave state scenario would play out. I do see the inconvenience of a girl travelling to another state for the procedure but if its such a necessity to get the procedure done. If the girl was raped and has the proper documentation then maybe a waiver can be setup to cover the costs of the operation. But driving to another state isn't too hard its not like they have to get a visa or spend thousands of dollars to get there for a plane ticket. But yeah interesting question nonetheless.

you know all you have to do is right click and open it in a new window and you dont have to return to anything just close the other window when your done readingit.

After listening to the debates so far on both sides I dont see a democratic candidate that I like at all.
And for the republican candidates who seem to be focused on abortion... well I woudlnt vote for them either... why...
Its an issue that doesnt effect everyone. Its not anywhere near the top of the list. There are many more important issues.

The top priority is the one that has the most effect on the most people in the most ways.

The nightmare if you will is if a democrat gets in office. Lets face facts here. The fight isn't about abortion, as much as you would like to claim it is. What the Republicans need to do , is first repeal NAFTA, to assure that our economic situation keeps going forward. Without that, we are sunk! Secondly, make damn sure we don't have universal healthcare...

If I were you I would spend less time trying to keep abortion legal, and more time trying to educate the young people about making good choices in life.

It's my hope for this country that any Democratic canidate is soundly defeated, so that our economic standards can once again move forward!

WHAT is new that you expect as you countdown your doomseday? Yes, the nightmare can be avoided. Vote your ABC's. Anybody But Clinton.
Thanks for the ride and extra click site. Personally I want off the Clinton freight train/wreck.

EDIT: only button you could find to debate me was a thumbs down? Surely if you read my information provided you had something to say. I guess you just write. That again is what Hillary '08 is counting on. Thanks for making my point clearer.

Better nightmare scenario,,,,,

A democrat is elected president and the democrats control Congress. Universal health care is instituted. Taxes are increased to redistribute wealth and pay for the massive healthcare system. Abortions are cheap.....$10 co-pay. We withdraw form Iraq and close half of our overseas bases. Our new ally, China, has just deployed its 10th aircraft carrier and its diplomatic bases in Africa keep growing. Oil was $150 a barrel, but thankfully OPEC decided to use the EURO to set oil prices....Unfortunately , that caused the worse resession in US history. IN 20 years China's miltary could equal that of the US and its economy may be stronger,,,,who knows.

Lets wait 10 years and see if this happens...........wait ...I am sorry...I will be dead of a heart attack because I am a nurse who is working massive amounts of "mandatory overtime" because of the worsening nursing and physician shortage. You see to control cost hospitals chose to cut pay for nurses (the largest cost of payroll), so no one wants to be one. A stent could have saved me, but there was one hundred people with stomach aches and rashes ahead of me.

Returning to your question was not that easy... just so you know...

Why don't you keep your blog on Yahoo 360 instead?

To answer your question... yes, it can be avoided.

Democrats are already wise to the Jim Crow Gerrymandering and the convolution of the media this time around... we're ready to fight and win.

Who cares?

Abortion is such a non issue.

Oh no the worst thing that could possibly happen to this country would be if you had to cross state lines to get an abortion...I don't think so.

There so many things that I dislike about the democrat party platform to worry about outlawing abortions.

The democrats want to make it illegal to pay a doctor directly, so who is taking away our liberty's?
