Or is it merely another testament to General Shinseki's assessment that we needed more boots on the ground to begin with, and therefore more evidence regarding Rummy's egomaniacal incompetence?

If we pass a UHC program, would we be able to stop paying for health care for the illegals? Where would they go if the ER didn't have to take their freeloading behinds?

Because in 1999 Clinton said it was in trouble over the long term:

"by 2013, payroll taxes will no longer be sufficient to cover monthly payments. And by 2032, the trust fund will be exhausted, and Social Security will be unable to pay out the full benefits older Americans have been promised."
http://www.cnn.com/ALLPOLITICS/stories/1999/01/19/sotu.transcript/

But now the Democrats are saying there's no problem and that all the Republicans who have addressed the issue are wasting time and stirring up discontent for the sake of votes.

So, did Bush fix social security without ever getting legislation passed, was Clinton lying in 1999, or are the Democrats lying now when they say Social Security is going to be there for the younger workers? Is there some alternative I'm missing here?

If Fred Thompsons burned a flag 30 years ago it could hurt him. If Obama's wife was an alcoholic that might hurt. But we already know everything about Bill and he never really got hurt by it.

The guy that owes him a week's pay check is a contractor. They had a verbal agreeement he would get paid on a weekly basis. My husband got a better paying job so he had to leave his job. But this guy isn't returning his calls, he has no office but we know he gets work from a legible construction company. What can we do?? Christmas is almost here and we need the money. Any advice would be appreciated. We thought about calling the police on him??

She flip flops on every issue, her only clame to fame is that she was married to Mr. Clinton. She is very butch looking and never wears a dress. She has no experiance in running anything. She says that her time in the White House qualifies her but I worked for a college for 16 years but that dont qalify me to be a proffesor. What are her qualifications?

The latest attack on Romney's economic record smacks of desperation to me - With Huckabee becoming the media darling pre-Iowa; And Romney moving into a tie in South Carolina...

If Romney wins all 3 of the early voting states; Iowa, NH, SC - How can Giuliani recover from that? I know he thinks the 'Super Duper Tuesday' states will stick with him; But rarely does a candidate survive being completely blanked early. What do you all think of Giuliani's highly unorthodox strategy?

Watching the way he continually falls in the polls in the early voting states as the campaign progresses, I just can't shake the feeling that most Republican primary voters just can't bring themselves to vote for a multiply divorced social liberal; Electability be d-mned...

g my child. To xplain what a dirty cop is: he helps to perpertrate illegal activities: stealing cars, credit cards, dr's license, etc, & then finds a victim to place the charges for the crimes (ascape-goat). My child loves the internet at the local library, well this dirty cop's son would sit next 2 my child and play pornograhy videio trying to rape-seduce my 11 year old child. I can't afford a computer of my own so my child can have his own space. what should I do??? Because this dirty dealing has an idea that who is going to believe a high-status African-American (so-called) police officer verses a poor (we live in the projects) 11 year old Black child

I had just gotten on the freeway..

i was going 75, on Cruise Control, as always..

On the oppisite side of the freeway i see a cop with his search lights out scanning the side of the road.

a mile or two down the road i see anohter cop, in my lane of traffic, and going really really slow. like 45 maybe.

At first i got startled cause i came up on him so fast.. so i pumped my brakes to slow down, changed lanes, passed him.. and started to speed up again.

And the cop flipped on his lights and pulled me over.

He said i was going 89. Which is crap to begin with, cause i doubt my truck could go that fast, AND, i was on Cruise control.

So i got a ticket.. but that is BS>

He was riding the shoulder, i followed all traffic laws, and i get some tickets for it.

is there anythign i can do. can i call BS and get out of it some how?
