Hope someone can help me.
Background:
Living in Ontario
BF was living common-law with someone for 10 years.
One child (daughter) is biolocically his, one (ex's son from another guy) is not his.
They broke up over 3 years ago and dissolved the common law marriage.
He has minimal contact with her son and only sees him when he goes to pick up his daughter (who he does support)

She is now trying to collect Child support from him for her son by another man rather than trying to collect it from his biological father.
Is there a time limit on how long she can wait to put through this type of a request since a) he is not the boys biological father & b) they were not married, only living common law. & c) they haven't been together for 3 years.

Thanks.

Do you understand what this means?
****************************

Martin Niemoeller, a German theologian and anti-war activist, was made famous by a poem he wrote during the Nazi takeover of Europe:

"First they came for the socialists, and I didn't speak up, because I wasn't a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up, because I wasn't a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up, because I wasn't a Jew.
Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak up for me".

For all the Americans who keep bleating, "I'm not affected. I've done nothing wrong. Doesn't apply to me"

Do you understand that our rights have been fought for and paid for with blood? That it has taken this country over 250 years to get where we are today? And that with three pieces of legislation bush has destroyed all of that?

I have 2 questions.

1- How do you go about reporting somebody that you think needs to be paying child support? Who do you call?

2- I will be 18 in 11 months, but I am already somewhat living on my own through a transitional living program. I am not happy with the program, and feel that it is only holding me back. Not only that...it's expensive and the money for it is coming out of my college account. I have a car and a job...people willing to sign papers for me...etc. and I want to get emancipated. Where do I start?

Got in an arguement with a very drunk friend...long story short...I went to the cops and they arrested him for simple battery.

So I have had enough of the State of Florida and I am heading back to Georgia.

I do not want to be burdened with this...so I want to drop charges bc I know I am not coming back for court or anything else for that matter.

How do I go about doing this...What step do I need to take?

Iraq had consistently failed to comply with UNSC resolutions, committed crimes against humanity, (if not outright genocide). However, reasons given, e.g. WMD and links to terrorism and Al- Qaeda were fallacious.
This question is not about whether the war was justified or not, (I don't believe it was) - but whether it was or was not a breach of international law, and thereby 'illegal'.

I asked the nearby funeral home, how much it cost to cremate me, and they charge more than $3000
Who is wrong, the funeral home, or the Social Security Service, and what can I do not to commit suicide, or to die by hunger?

Quite a few participants on this web site chronically cut and paste in "answering" the questions, rather than exercising original thought. Is this good or bad? Is it part of the dumbing of America? Is it part of the slothfulness of the lazy?

I wouldn't normally care about a couple pieces of missing or late mail given the time of year. However, my neighbours are receiving my mail and are keeping it or passing it along late. I have recieved mail that was several weeks late!
I have left three notes for the mail carrier to deliver my mail to the side door mail receptical. In the last month or so I have only recieved my mail on time, in my mailbox, just a few times.
I complained to the Canada Post via their website, and they responded promptly saying they would investigate. However, this morning I found some of my mail from last week wrapped up on the front porch with a note to the mail carrier saying 'Please deliver to addressee. Sorry for the inconvenience but this could lead to legal issues. Thank you for your patience.'
Since when is it an inconvenience to deliver to the proper mail box? Why are my neighbours keeping my mail for weeks on end when they know it's wrong? Would you contact the police to report mail theft?

I am following an associate in science degree in criminal justice technology but I don't know what is the best bachelor degree that I can take, I have many courses of chemistry and biology, and I would like to work in and off the scene and the crime lab, if I want to work in both places, what would be the best field for me? I heard that a forensic scientist is a better remunerated job but I wouldn't like to work only in a laboratory and I want to participate in the investigations fully.

thank you

Lead a life style that suits me if I can afford it
Do pretty much anything I wish as long as it is legal

there was a report from the Joint Economic Commitee that said:

To provide some perspective on these figures, just the funds requested for the Iraq war through
2008 would have been sufficient to provide health insurance coverage to all of America’s uninsured
for the 2003-2008 period. (There were approximately 45 million uninsured Americans at
the start of the war in 2003 and this number rose to 47 million by 2006, which is the latest figure
available from the U.S. Census Bureau).
